  1. I've had exactly the same problem! My local dealer suggested removing the disc and cleaning it etc. But i cant remove it? I push the eject button and it buzzes but doesnt eject!? i found it worked for a few seconds....then it went back to its error message of "unable to read disc" any help folks?
  2. no one i've spoken to so far has had mate. thanks for the input though. it's much appreciated. many people have had it look here and here today is the first time i looked on here and asked. i had only asked local garages. The sound sort of similar. But my lights switch off fine. its just when you turn them on that it happens. I just thought it was suspiscious after the car went in for work.

  4. Yeah i had all those fuses out in the drivers side and they're all spot on. no probs down there. I dont actually have normal cheap bulbs to try with. i'll be buying them tomorrow. need them for my mot which is coming up. Thanks dude its not the fuses its the actual connections in the board I was right in about there...its sparkling clean.
  5. I have hid kits in both dipped and high beam. but they're two slightly different bulbs. they cant be swapped round. had a look at that.

  7. Hey Gents. I have a problem! My car got vandalised. My drivers headlamp smashed and my bumber damaged. Got the insurance to sort it. It went into the bodyshop and it was out in no time. Got a nice shiney new headlight and a new bumper. I noticed that night that when i switched on my dipped beam....the high beam would come on too!! Just two clicks on the light stalk from the steering column would turn on both my high beams AND my dipped. It even indicates so on the dash! I have an HID conversion kit. it wasnt damaged and i've had them for well over a year so i'm certain they are not to blame. I asked the body shop to look into it, after all they did fanny about with the bulbs when replacing the headlight unit. They deny everything. " We're a body shop, not elictricians!" Right-o!! The refuse to take the car in. The say my HID's are not covered by my insurance. I have checked every fuse in the car. Every fuse. They are all fine. I have swapped ballasts all round and all that good stuff....the headlight bulbs all work. I just cannot understand what the prob could be. So i'm pouring my heart out to you guys hoping someone can help! Cheers. Chris
