Thanks for the prompt reply folks, It is definatly not the steering lock so I think the problem is the barrel. Time to change it I think.

Has anybody got a solution to my problem? The key won't turn in the ignition even though the flashing orange light has gone out. The battery in the key is good as the remote locking functions all work OK. Any ideas to get me back on the road?
