  1. Thanks Denis. I rang my local lexus dealer today and nearly got a heart attack they want 350 euros for one rear shock . Does any one know where else i can buy them thanks.
  2. Hi lads i just realized today that one of my rear shocks on my 220d are leaking so i need to replace the two rear shocks. Have I other options other than the main dealers and does anyone know who makes the OEM Lexus shocks. I'm presuming that is 200 shocks wont fit as i can get my hands on these very easy
  3. Hi lads can anyone tell me if i drop my 220d on 30mm h&r springs will the camber be ok as the camber cant be adjusted on these
  4. Id just like to add im sick of seeing bad comments about the 220d on this site. I have a 06 is220d se-l with mm for nearly 12 months now and i have to say WHAT A CAR. I get between 35 to 40 mpg mainly on regional roads and thats not trying, Its a weekend car for me so im not trying to get every mpg i can. The car is extremely comfortable and quiet and as for loaded with gadgets there is nothing it doesnt have. I have heard comments about bmw on here and im sick of it, my girlfriends parents bought a new 320d last year and i was disgusted with it nearly 40 grand (euro) for the most uncomfortable car i ever sat in, it felt like there was a steel bar sticking into my back and as for the interior how boring and outdated is that. I cant see the attraction to german cars i really cant and dont even talk about the reliability factor because it doesnt come into it. The german cars is what is keeping motor factors going and this is a fact. I really dont believe the 220d is letting lexus down its far from it. This is just my two cents on the matter and im a lexus owner for the last five years with my previous car being an altezza rs200.
  5. Hi lads i hope im posting this in the right place. I recently bought an is220d and there was a few slight nicks in the interior plus there was a small tear on the rear seat. I brought it to smart fix in galway and the results were amazing. He did a first class job and his rates are very reasonable. He is used by all the car dealers in galway like Lexus, bmw , Mercedes and land rover. So for anyone in ireland that needs any interior repairs done i highly recommend him and he is a very nice man to deal with. You can find his details at (www.smartfix.ie)

  20. Yep thats it it changes the crownwheel and pinion . i have had my car nearly 12months now and i havent even went near top speed .It does make a big differece with a final drive
  21. I have sat nav so if i get lost i might as well give up Which way will u be comming to limerick is it the adare way or the n69 tarbert way ill need to be leaving around half 5 to be safe
  22. I made mine myself mate as the ones u buy take out the middle box too and that would make it too loud. The way i made mine i can just bolt the cat back on for nct :winky:
  23. Hows things mate welcome to the loc.A final drive changes the ratio between the crownwheel and pinion in your diff which gives u more rapid acceleration but you loose a bit on top speed.since top speed is very rarely hit i prefer better acceleration :winky: .As for a head unit any one will do as autoleads do a facia pannel i went for a lg dvd player with sat nav and bluetooth its some head unit .If your not interested in spending serious money something like a pioneer ,sony, kenwood ect are all good head units. Hope this helps
  24. Love it comfort ,power, looks oh and i nearly forgot RWD :winky:
  25. Decat mate i did mine last week mad a big difference more responcive. Ill let you drive my car above and see what you think a final drive kit is a must have too
