  1. Haha though I'ld finally see you here Phil, dont forget to post in the 'Altezza' forum too bud. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...hp?showforum=68
  2. Please let me know how you get on. Very curious to find out, want to check now but cant (its 12.10am here in NZ haha) Its more of like a 'Tick'. Im so glad Im not the only one now haha
  3. Ahhhh I just got this problem too on my front drivers wheel. Initially thought it was something (piece of wire or something) hitting the spokes. Only happens when I turn right more then one full turn of the wheel though... Might check mine tomorrow and see if its the same bush
  4. No need to do that. Did mine just today (changed to blue LEDs), undo the lining on the bootlid, and just behind the lock, you will see the two grey bulb housings, twist them off, and the plugs can just pull out as they are Wedge Type bulbs. If you need more help, PM me and I could possibly do a quick DIY with pics.
  5. Nope, totaly normal in most 6speeds. Called the 3000rpm Rumble. Happens on some stock cars, and even more obvious when you change the clutch and flywheel. Just another characteristic along with the 'Idle Chatter' Would post a link to another forum where its been discussed the hell out off, but I would again get warned and the post deleted...
  6. Any before and after pics of the wheels that got refurbished? Callipers looks good ;)
  7. That is a 2001+ gauge cluster, they changed all Altezzas gauges after this year. As I have gathered, the stock ones should have still been orange. Be aware that Auto gauges will only work for Autos, and the gauges should be plug and play.
  8. Congrats, hope ypu enjoy your new car ;)
  9. Sorry for the blury pic but find this plate (on the firewall) and on it tells you all the numbers etc. But not sure where you can find the Engine Serial Number.... Possibly some where on the engine block itself?

    Oil

The silver paint code is: 1C0 - Millenium Silver Try to use any fully synthetic oils, I tend to use 5w-40.
  11. Well an auto box doesnt have a clutch, it uses a torque converter instead. Have you changed the transmission fluid recently?
  12. Firstly check and make sure that a 7.5amp fuse actually belongs there haha. Have you got any audio gear for the car? Cause that has been known to cause a few blown fuses from time to time. Also make sure you start the car without the headlights on.
  13. Yup, 280T has a 3SGE (RS200) thats been turbocharged from the Netz factory in Japan, 100 were built. And in the AS/IS200 form, there is a TTE Supercharged one that came from the TTE factory supercharged. (got more of that article if anyone wants it)
  14. Oh my mistake guys/girls. I though that the figures give were at the wheels and not at the fly. Still good results though
  15. Hmmm makes more sence now, yeah might just be easier to call the Dealers
  16. So no secret? Just the farting? haha No really...what is the reason lol? nothing? (mine spits out smoke at times, but mine is older yet and has had the cats removed haha) All manuals then I take it?
  17. If its just bolts, bring in another one (from the other side) and go into a hardware store, they would have plenty of the same size :)
  18. Time for a new headunit bud, Err3 is a very common problem in the Altezza. Can be fixed but not worth the hassle or the money, just start looking for a new headunit haha
  19. So all on the dyno were 6speeds? Good results guys/girls. Louise's stocky seems to make pretty good power, any reason (better gas/clean maf sensor/octane booster???)
  20. I personally found that after an Apexi Power Intake Panel Filter, and a DeCat, I was getting a good atleast 10kms out of every 10L of 98... Maybe its just me?
  21. Its illegal in most countried unless you retrofit them (when you use a headlamp unit that was made for HID lamps, and not just fit HID bulbs into a normal headlamp) Also be aware that most IS300 USDM headlights will not fit the JDM Altezza as they have thicker bumpers and headlights to comply with their saftey laws and all. And another thing, some Altezzas did have self leveling headlights, mostly found in the 'L' editions, and not the 'Z' editions. Only a handfull seem to have them however...
  22. I've heard differently, the Netz Toyota 280T is 280HP (206kw)... That is alot more power then a stock RS200Z :P 100 were made in the world, and we happen to have atleast 1 here in NZ. The 280T that we have here is scary fast, just squats when he hits the boost :P . Any boost is better then no boost right? haha And YES they do need more maintance, and cost more to run. But sure does look good with the 280T Full Bodykit, and a nice shiney intercooler hanging off the front, will try to find a pic and post in here :) Edit: Found the pic: (old pic though...)
  23. Very nice results guys/girls. Now whos car was stock and whos wasnt? hehe
  24. I can think of 3 or 4, and another to hold the Air Scoope in, will confirm in the morning
