  1. I understand that, Marc and I appreciate it. Don't think I've dismissed what you've said because I haven't. It's the way in which it is delivered though, which doesn't help the matter and makes a situation seem more clouded than it actually is. Cheers
  2. Ahhhh right I see, I just thought that offering an item to people that may be interested in it would be okay really, whether that be via the For Sale section or Messaging? My error then it seems and for this, I am sorry... If this is the case then at the time I should have been informed as it seems Moderators were told from reading the other thread. Would've made everything a lot easier really and at least I would have known, rather than it mount to this. Cheers...
  3. Yeah, I did request for a post to be modified regarding the manifold at the time. Makes no difference to me though, if I made or lost on the item is irrelevant to be honest. My previous post regarding the Terms & Conditions was that there are updates to that thread, as outlined at the bottom after Steve's last update so would be visible to anyone reading :) I like how you're inferring that I am being derogatory toward the Moderators with my comments. Doesn't suprise me really ;) Cheers
  4. Indeed, all very entertaining I must say :) I need not name those who have "gone before me", all I can say is that being involved in such a situation like this, I now know that quite a few members of the club have been ejected from the club for the wrong reasons and for untrue statements. Regards selling something via PM... and? It isn't my problem or concern for that matter, if the Terms & Conditions of the Lexus Owners Club are not accurate and do not state this (unless they are updated in the meantime that is)... Please read them here and here. Regards.
  5. A favour lol, yeah okay... Listen, if I wouldn't mind at all if there was some substance to the majority of your comments. Love the insertion of such remarks like pathetic and meglomania - sheer genius! :D Going down a similar route to someone else who was wrongly accused of this 'n' that. It does indeed make me smile as it's an endless loop of he did this, he did that and so on. I checked through the T&C's some time ago by the way and found no mention of trading via PM? My apologies if it mentions this somewhere and I have overlooked. Oh and of course you're welcome to your opinions :) All the best...
  6. At the end of the day, I'll let you all draw your own conclusions. Plenty has gone on, on and off the forum and I too am not a sole "guilty party" in all of this. Regarding parts I have sold in the past, what business is it of yours to dictate or profess what I may and may not do? None if I am not mistaken? That goes for other people too. If you read the T&C's of the Forum, nowhere does it state what may be sold and how it may be sold. Therefore I do believe I have not conducted any unsolicited selling whatsoever. I'm not being funny, but genuinely show me if I have contravened something please... I don't need the attempt of some members to belittle me on a public forum, when really, they aren't exactly crystal themselves. I couldn't care less what you think of me. Those that actually do know me in 'real life' know that I am not this shady character I'm made out to be. Oh and I'm glad to hear that your tastebuds will be pleasantly fulfilled with replies or comments made about all of this... Makes me smile though how only portions of what has gone on are made visible to people reading this board, it really does :) Cheers
  7. Cheers, Chris. Hope all goes well for you too mate, hopefully I'll bob back to update when there is something to update with :) Thanks for your advice too, Jamie
  8. Hi there, The number I post online is a second line I have and which poses no detriment to my personal data, the other for friends and family. Just my created topics, not the posts. Some of which are informative to others. Cheers, Jamie
  9. Hi Barry, Not a problem, but basically when I begin to leave any forum, club or site, I request my thread(s) to be removed along with any personal information. I do have an entire backup of the thread if you wish to restore it, however, I'm pretty sure Invision Board has its own. I don't like the trail of information that can be left and to be honest, working in IT, I see far too much of it myself. Cheers, Jamie
  10. Why do you have to give the game away?!? Spoil sport! I was saving it! Damn you! :)
  11. I've had the car for well over a year and a half and it has never let me down - that's one thing that worries me by moving away from the Lexus marque. Another thing is the interior, they are undoubtedly fantastic and I'll definitely miss that! Once the new machine is in my possession I'll update, but I'm in no hurry so I'll see how things go. Thanks, Jamie
  12. ... Because it's going in the For Sale section pal :) I wanted to thank you though, as you really did give me some fantastic advice when looking for the car. All the refinements and revisions throughout the years. It resulted in me finding a really great example with all the trimmings I was looking for. Thanks again mate, Jamie
  13. Aye, as standard as standard can be. With exception to the headlights and they're an original factory part...
  14. I've already sold the springs I'm afraid. Regards insurance, it's only down partially as the policy is already most of the way through. Jamie
  15. Demon Tweeks are offering a very nice offer indeed to all those that attended the show - so make sure you take advantage of this for the one week that it is valid! Additionally, the photographic company for the day, Digital Image UK have published their photographs to their site for review and purchase. http://www.digitalimageuk.com/gallery/Website/JPN/index.html If you would like to purchase an image then please call 01228 514 665 to place your order. Many thanks, Jamie
  16. Good afternoon everyone, Well, what a fantastic result. Without your presence at the show and contributions to the day, it wouldn't have been the show it turned out to be. No matter what size of club, large or small, each person that attended helped make the day a success and I thank you all for that. Not forgetting the marshals and team that helped out on the day - it couldn't have been accomplished without them! I hope you all liked some of the cars I arranged to be there, including the Nissan GTR, Evo X and Honda Integra DC5 Touring Car :) As you all know, the day was a tad moist in places and sadly, this is one element I cannot control (however, the chinese have mastered methods of precipitation so maybe they can help? :) ) The raffle prizes and tickets that were drawn on the day can be found on the website at www.JapanNorth.co.uk/raffle.html The competitions on the day were awarded to: Show & Shine - Mazda MX-5 from MX5-Nutz - This was sponsored and chosen by Demon Tweeks on the day after really struggling to decide upon a winner. The reason he chose the MX-5 was due to the complete dedication to keeping every inch of the car spotless, in particular the engine bay and ancillaries. The judge did want me to highlight though that the quality was outstanding and he was gutted to have to turn down so many of the entries. Best I.C.E. - Nissan 350Z from 350Z-UK - This was sponsored and chosen by K and M Acoustics. Same story here, he spent a large part of the day trying to choose between so many fantastic entries. Eventually he chose the Nissan 350Z due to not only the quality of the audio, but the way in which it had been seamlessly into the car. Again, he had to weigh up between both ends of the scale from full on installs, through to almost OEM quality setups. Best Club Stand - Lancashire & District Subaru Owners Club - This was sponsored and judged by Andy of Just Nissan. Due to the overall presentatation and organisation of the stand, the LADSOC was chosen as the winner of this trophy and it was presented to the team by Andy. Keep an eye out in the magazines as Banzai and Japanese Performance promised coverage and details have been sent to them. If I find out before yourselves, I'll post up the details for you all. Max Power have already published an article to their website here: http://www.maxpower.co.uk/article.asp?asset=7452 and http://www.maxpower.co.uk/gallery.asp?asset=7455 I'll be hovering around the forum for some time and if you ever want to ask anything regarding the show or anything else feel free to get in touch ;) From the raffle, stand entries and donations, we raised a total of £1850 which is being donated to Christie's Hospital, Childline Northwest, Wigan & Leigh Hospice and Butterflies. Once again, may I thank you for all your help in making the show a success and hope to see you at next year's Japan North - 2009!
  17. ::: Touring Car Appearance ::: Wheel Quick have arranged to bring the Matt Neal & Team Halfords Honda Integra Type R Touring Car... This will be on display tomorrow at the show for you to take photos of and pose with! http://www.wheelquick.co.uk/index2.php http://www.JapanNorth.co.uk
  18. ::: Cleaning - Get Your Car Looking Spot On! ::: Get Sponging: Plenty of owners and stand exhibitions spend the time cleaning their vehicles on the days before the show, but if you would like to give your car that last shine, then there is a water tap on site for you to use - just remember to bring those sponges! There will be lots of photographs taken on the day, many of which will be submitted to the various car magazines for the aftershow article, including Banzai, Japanese Performance and Max Power. Get those wheels shiny and get that bodywork polished! :) Competitions: There are awards available on the day for both Best I.C.E. and Show & Shine. You can collect the entry forms from the Japan North Stand on the day and there is no fee to enter. Food Court: At Japan North 2008, we have a food court available, so there will be something to munch down on when you're a tad peckish! Vehicle Forms: Just a quick reminder to get those forms downloaded and displayed in your window, which are available towards the end of this thread.
  19. ::: Maps & Recommendations ::: Good evening all, Below you will find the map outlining the entry points for the venue. Key: Red Dot - Indicates entry point for vehicles unaffected by ramps Blue Dot - Indicates entry point for low vehicles Green Dot - Indicates entry point for very low vehicles Orange Dot - Indicates entry point to the showground Purple Line - Indicates roads leading to Haigh Hall Venue For those not attending with an owners club, or who are not on a club stand, there is plenty parking available and you will be directed towards this on arrival. If attending as part of a club and with a stand, then you will be asked for the appropriate details, which will correspond to a predefined list.
  20. ::: RULES & GUIDELINES ::: Times: Entry to the venue for owners clubs and companies will begin at 07:30AM and end promptly at 09:30AM. Cars after this time will not be able to access the stands for their clubs. This is according to Haigh Hall Country Park's Health & Safety Regulations, as the venue is open to the public and so we must gather and arrange all cars by 09:30AM in preparation for opening. The event will officially be open from 10:00AM to the public and this is when all cars will be in situe by. The event will be closing at 16:00 and all cars MUST be cleared by 18:00. Rubbish: Basically, I have been told that if any rubbish is left at the end of the day, it will be picked by the park rangers and there WILL BE A CHARGE FOR THIS. PLEASE collect ALL your rubbish, it's not a large favour to ask and this all contributes to being able to use the venue next time around. If rubbish is left, the charge incurred will have to be passed onto your club. Marshals: Marshals will be located at the entrance to Haigh Country Park, along the driveway to Haigh Hall and at the event site to control and assist with parking of exhibition vehicles. Please conform to their directions. Drivers are cautioned not to exceed 10MPH whilst you are within the grounds of Haigh Hall. On arrival at the event site, your vehcile will be checked off from a list, according to your FORUM NAME, CLUB NAME AND REGISTRATION PLATE NUMBER. The Day: Should there be a need for a vehicle to be moved during the event, you MUST seek the assistance of one of the event marshals. Should you refuse to wait for assistance prior to moving the vehicle, a signature will be required on the Health and Safety Waiver Form and the matter reported to Event Control, along with your vehicle details. Everyone should be aware of Health & Safety issues and bring any concerns to the attention of the event organisers, which may be found at the main Japan North Stand and also wearing high visibility vests. At the end of the day, the event marshals will supervise the orderly exit of exhibitors from Haigh Hall Country Park. Please note: All members that have voiced interest in attending the day have been compiled into a list. This list will be passed onto event marshals, who will ensure that only cars belonging to members of the list may enter the venue for display on their club stand. Above all, have a safe and enjoyable day and I look forward to meeting you all at the second Japan North Car Show!
  21. Good evening all, Please read the following few items... I have just secured the lovely new Nissan GTR Premium Model for the show, so that will be on display (providing that the documentation is sorted by tomorrow). ======================== Samco Sport have donated a silicone engine hose kit to the raffle thanks to Demon Tweeks. This will be for the winner's vehicle of choice. ======================== When attending the day the Marshals will request specific information from you, of which I have already. I will be posting maps and entrance information on the forum shortly.
