  1. Some suggestions to be looked at 1) Loose fitting brake pads in the caliper 2) Lack of silicone compound on back of brake pad 3) Missing springs or anti-rattle clips that should be on the caliper or pad 4) Improper tightening sequence of lug nuts or caliper hardware
  2. Are the squeaking or grinding? Have you checked your brake shoes could they be worn out too?

  6. Mine being on LPG aswell im getting around 18mpg 70% local and 30% motorway(44 ltr = 185 miles) and im a feather foot driver too I like to chill out...... and I have a 58-60 ltr tank. on a motorway run i get about 20mpg and + I have let it run dry, it will just start to lose power where you then switch it over to petrol (mines not automatic either). oh about the red light it does not mean its near finised ( thats what I had 1st thought it was ) infact depending on your tank size you can get 50+ miles more when the red lights comes on. A trick I use to find out much is left, other that resetting the trip is when the red light is on and when you come to brake you will notice that the green lights come back on again this a a great indication on how much is left in the tank and you can work out how many more miles you can do, if on the other hand you brake and the light remains red then you know your in your last quarter (again depeding on tank size) and should be able to work out how many more miles are left before filling. When your on gas your petrol should not be effected, unless the air con uses it ( this I dont know and would be good to find out always wondered if on LPG does the Air Con burn the gas or petrol), As far as I know the petrol on mine is used for a few seconds when starting the car up and then switches over. I last filled it up and have driven it on petrol now and then (5 miles or so every now and then) to keep the engine lubricated ( not had flashlube fitted yet ) other then than it really has not moved and I do about 40miles a day

  10. I recently changed my brake pad and dics all round and I too get the same squeaking noise I think it takes time to bed in but that can depend on how many time you drive and brake. I like you have done over a 1000 miles and get the odd squeaking now n then but it never always come from one side or corner it comes from all over at times or from the front or right etc... :duh: but im waiting for a lil while and see what happens

  13. Hi, was it working fine before you changed the plugs? As I have heard that a specfic set of plugs should be used.... Im not fully aware but I have read it some where and if I can dig it up i will post it up. From what I can remember is said that when you do a service and change the plugs you should replace them with the same type.... hope this helps

  16. Hi wasim they should be the same set up I dont see what the difference could be. from what I know the difference between the sport and normal is lowered suspension, wheels, badges, grill, spoiler, maybe other things under the bonnet but im not aware of that... I have seen a few springs on ebay and they again state that the springs will fit both sport and non sport.
  17. I think many people on here are still wondering what that could be.. Air con, Coolant, Rad leak etc still not got a right answer... however I think it probably due to the air con system. Is the free inspection only if you buy somthing or get somthing serviced?

  22. Greasing the cable could be, though not fully sure will have to wait till someone who knows the ins n outs of them to tell. Have you checkd if your mats arnt rubbing against the pedal?
  23. I noticed my yellow car indictor came on last night and instantly knew I had a blown tail light bulb so went to check to and take it out and found no access panel in the boot... I was confused so check e owners book and its saying I gota take the unit out what a pain in the ***** this is for a bulb change.. The good thing is the bulb is not effect by the brake, as you know you get some bulbs are 2 in one system and this way atleast its safe for me and the driver behind me.
