Hi I,ve just taken in px a is 200 sport on a 1999V Lovely car all round with full history and mvery good pedigree, the central locking does not work on the fob or in the drivers door.it will lock and unlock the drivers door manually on the key all other doors remain unlocked unless you sit in the car and operate the door locking switch which will lock and unlock the doors ? Can any body shed some light i,ve just ordered new batteries for the remote but should the car lock all the doors manually with the Key ? Many thanks in advance Dan

Can anyone shed some light before i spend fortunes on diagnostics i have a lexus is 200 1999 T when you start it all of the lights that should come on a and go out do so how ever as soon as you touch the bake pedal thewarning light comes on and stays on yet the luid level is ok themodel i have doesn't have padwarning sensors i was informed it could be a brake light bulb on checking them i noticed the high level light was not working so changed the bulb with a 501 which was smaller than the original but does work fine. any tips or things to try would be appreciated many thanks Dan

Cheers for the speedy response, when they fitted the aftrmarket stereo did they bypass your amp or does that still work? also can you remember who did it as they may be able to supply me a cable for lexus to iso as i'm struggling with that an don't fancy cutting genuine looms. Many Thanks Dan

i,ve recently purchased a lexus is 200 and the cd player won't eject the cds you can hear the motor working away but will not eject the cd's when you try to play them it comes up error 3 i've tried disconnecting the battery to see if this resolves the problem but to no avail, is there a way to get the discs out other than to send the unit off. can i get a boot changer that will run off this head unit or can i get the head unit repaired and if so where, i'm led to believe that the is 200 has an amp which is hard to get audio wires to fit aftrmarket units ( to many myths an rumours) somebody must know the answers.
