  1. My Ninja blender has a better motor than a Smart. Can't believe it takes up floor space in a Mercedes show room. Why did Brabus tried to turn a turd into a lemon it's a mystery. But hey, you loved it🙂
  2. I have don't have a delivery date. Initially was September...
  3. The chap doing the filming is a mechanic not a camera man. The video is a good addition to the written report. However I shall report your observation.
  4. I was given September delivery🤪, something to do with the trim I ordered.
  5. Had the car from new and done almost 240000 trouble free miles. I didn't use much the car in the last 2 years and was serviced by a local garage. In the last 8 months the car didn't move. VSC warning appeared on the dash, car was taken to Lexus. Here is the video and the verdict. Some of the faults I was aware off and was going to have them fixed in March when I returned. Water leak was a bit of a surprise though. Sorry here is the video, is protected so I had to YouTubed it. If you have a roof bar is worth checking it.Considering the expense to repair the car (hybrid battery is bound to die soon) I will take the opportunity of the Lexus scrappage scheme worth £3500 and get a new one. However is it worth repairing? Just had all four wheels refurbished 🥴
  6. Well due to pandemic I haven't done a lot of miles. I am abroad. Had the wheels refurbished and the car has now a VSC warning on? They will take the car to Lexus. Anyway it's time to change. Going for the UX.
  7. Today I visited a Lexus dealer in Israel. The UX had a space saver under the boot cover. This was the entry level UX with the 17'' tyres. So the answer is yes, Lexus do have space saver, however is a different market.
  8. Still have the RX. Mileage now is 240000 miles. Still nothing major. Battery health is still 100%. Things I had to change due age: Centre Box, replaced with a stainless steel made to order box. £400 fitted. Two rear wheel ball bearings, usual service, disc and pads etc. Service every 10000 miles or once a year. Engine still running well, no rattles or funny noises. Dampers will need changing, still originals.
  9. My 400h has now done 175000 miles from new and coming up 10 years old. Apart from regular service and tyres nothing major went wrong...well, 5 years ago the hybrid ECU packed up ( fixed under warranty ) and the small start up battery changed at 80000 miles.
  10. It was the 800 series and now is working. As far as the rolling forward/backwards on a incline ( like a car park or steep hill ) ,dealer principal suggested to use the parking brake ( at low speed ) when parking or maneuvering , this is NOT sanctioned by LUK and is not in the owners manual ,I requested him to put this in writing ( he did not ) ,but will check with LUK . In different markets there is a Hill-Start function on the RX330 , the new LS ,GS and LX (Amazon )all have Hill-Start . This can not be retrofitted . I like the car ( 33m/g , very quiet ,good performance ) but there is a good case in rejecting the car on grounds of safety .The automatic does NOT have a torque converter like in normal automatics/dgs/tiptronic etc that why the auto doest hold on a hill . I had a RX350 on loan and it has the same issue with the hill start . I also found that the suspension and the steering on the 400h is much better than on the 350 . So do not follow a Lexus to close in a car park :winky:
  11. I was led to belive there is at least 8 years warranty on the battery.... In Canada and U.S
  12. Had my RX 400h for 48hours and I have 2 issues : Front parking sensor beeping continuously for no reason :duh: . Main issue became apparent ,when I tried to park on the hill in a residential area ( 8%-10% gradient ), with the gear in D ,the car rolled back ( car was pointing uphill) when I taken my foot off the accelerator .to apply the brake . Made a 3 point turn so the car was parked, facing downhill ,tried to manoeuvre with the gear in R ,the car rolled forward when I taken my foot off the accelerator . I am baffled ,I read the owners manual ( 450 pages) and I cant find any reference to hill start. Question : Is this a problem ? Or They all do this Sir! For the past 20 years I had automatics ( Mercedes ) so I figured out by now how to park a car on a hill , on a normal auto weather in D or R when you are on a gradient the gear "holds" the car The car is going back to the dealer tomorrow , to have the parking sensors fixed and the second problem debated. If any of you chaps can advice I much appreciated . I like the car and ticks all my requirements , but the issue with the hill parking is unnerving . Regards Rob
