  1. Hi, Am rather new to this forum. Had my Lexus IS200 Sport (Y plate 64000 miles) since Jan this year. I've recently noticed a funny vibration / rattle sound when I'm going slowly (in traffic or slowing down) in 2nd or 3rd gear (with or without the clutch down). It seems to go away when I press the brake though. Ive had my brake discs and pads changed recently (in the last 2 weeks). This sound was there before and after changing the discs and pads. It is hard to describe the sound, but it sounds like a motorboat trying to start, but stuttering. No change in my revs though. Any ideas anyone? Would appreciate it. Thanks, monkey
  2. Hi all, Am new to LOC. Ive just bought the IS200 Sport Y plate with 50k miles on it. Metallic Green. It is one of the best cars ive driven. (better than my old mk2 golf and my mates Beemer 318) All in all it is a fantastic car. Not too sure what to start doing to the car. Thoughts are to try and get my ipod to talk to the car. (at the moment its via the now legal iTrip or if my wife is using this then a cassette adaptor) Oh, and another thing. Is the "clunk" sound when shifting between 1st and 2nd (and sometimes between 2nd and 3rd) quite normal (I read somewhere on this forum that it is, just wanted to make sure) Thanks.
