  1. Can anyone tell me where I can get a nice car mobile phone holder that will stick to the leftside of the centre console rather than these rubbish air vent ones that I have at the moment which block the air off.
  2. Kev your car looks wicked what sport of kit is that you have on your spanking Lexus IS200
  3. Where can you get hold of a descent mobile phone holder for a Lexus one that perhaps does not involve blocking off air vents.
  4. Hi everyone, Just after a bit of advice on my Lexus IS200 Sport. I do about 18,000 miles a year in my car and my girlfriend lives about 40 miles away so traveling costs are really starting to bite to the tune of £40-£50 a week. The trouble is I don't want to change my Lexus for a bmw diesel or any other car as I love my Lexus IS200 so I have been looking at LPG as an alternative. Has anyone done this to their IS200 or any other Lexus model and would you advise for or against this course of action, does it effect the warranty?, the life of the engine? No need for Deer jokes this week however almost hit a badger on the same peice of road.
  5. Getting the wing mirror done tomorrow and will use my Gold membership discount very useful (for those out there that have not got it) what you waiting for its well worth it. I will get the other parts done at a later stage as they are minor dents, however I do want to get them done. Is it me or do girls not understand men and motors, she goes there is nothing wrong with the car and I said there is and I want it done. You have to talk their language and I said to her is her furniture had got stratched or damage would she try to mend it, she had to agree she would. I am going to this Xmas do and hope some of you guys will be there, probably go under the name oh dear. It been quiet regarding the Xmas do have they got the numbers yet.
  6. Deery Deery me these jokes I have heard them all before. Because the IS200 is built so well I came off better than I would have normally it hit the front wing, bonnet and took the wing mirror clean off. When it first hit I thought oh my *** the damage was going to be really bad. It was at night and the deer came from the left wooded area straight out infront of me nothing I could do, luckily the girlfriend didn't have the window open otherwise she would have got a snog from the deer. When I pulled over a little down the road the damage didn't seem that bad, the deer was dead and a woman behind hit it as well, the stink was terrible, but we had to move it off the road. The next day I could see it had dented the bonnet, wing and door very slightly, but as you lot know to dent that bonnet takes some hit. Would have demolished most normal cars, my friend had a volvo and come off a lot worse than me.
  7. Not having my much luck this month with my car I hit a deer the other week and it is going to cost me £300 just to get the wing mirror done. However I have suffered slight other damage to the bonnent, wing and door they are not big dents because of how well the car is built. Is there anywhere you guys can recommend for get this damaged fixed. The authorised Lexus suggestion wanted £850 which seems a bit steep.
  8. Hi I have made a bit of a mess of one of my alloys and the other ones are looking a bit tatty is there any place that you guys would recommend to get them refurbished back to their original state. I could get a new set but I like the design of the standard alloy.
  9. I saw an IS300 the other day and it had sensors suttely built into the bumper and this system be put on my IS200 sport?
  10. I have a IS200 and was wondering if there was a dvd/navigation system or even the standard system that would go in the top as on the IS300 model with the controls where the cup holders are in my car. Any ideas about this would be appreciated. He whatches and the £'s pile up.
  11. A mp3 compatable cd changer sounds like a good idea that would fit in the boot just like the mindisc changer you can get for the Lexus right? Next question is will the stereo be able to to recognise the MP3 format from the extra cd changer?
  12. I have a 3 year old Lexus IS200 and the only little dissapointment I have with it is the quality of the alloys they are pretty corroded now by the brake dust. As I have only owned it for 2 months the previous owner has obviously not taken care of them. Is there anywhere that can refurbish them back to there original state?
  13. The Dension machine costs around £300 plus the hard drive, but you can get it cheaper through the Gold discount directory. As Fluff said, it connects via an FM modulator, which works very well (It's cable-connected - not via the aerial). Glad you like your Dension however a friend of mine reckons there would be a serious down grade in quality with a FM modulator. Does the £300 include the hardrive and how do you transfer say cd's with MP3 on to the hardrive?
  14. That sounds ideal what is a dension and how does it fit to the lexus stereo? How much does one cost?
