I have tried 245/40/18 's all round and the car didn't like it, I have just replaced the rears with 275/35/18 's and it is now perfect, I hope this helps.

I stopped all my van drivers using mobile phones whilst driving some time ago, it is now viewed as gross misconduct if they do. I eventually got it through to them that it wasn't a matter of the £30 fine, should you injure or, heaven forbid, kill someone on the road whilst using a phone, the chances are that you would not just be banned from driving for a considerable time, but could also face a prison sentence for causing death by dangerous driving or even manslaughter. Hi Extreme, Just fitted them to my Mk11 GS300 as well, what size tyres have you fitted ? I have 245/40/18 all round and find the ride harsher, would like to fit larger tyres to the rear but I am not sure if it would interfere with the VSC and anti-skid systems, any ideas ? I like the look of your garage :)

Just found (and bought) a brand new set of TTE 18" alloy wheels on e-bay, 8.5" fronts and 10" rears, they are to go on my 02 GS300, could someone please let me know the appropriate tyre sizes for them, will they have to be the same section and profile front and back ?? Any help will be appreciated.

I too am about to take delivery of a '54' RX300, I have traded in my Sorento which had the Pioneer AVIC X1 Navigation/DVD/CD package fitted. Does anyone know if there is a suitable aftermarket ICE system compatible with the existing Lexus setup? really just looking to be able to fit a DVD/TV which will allow us to watch on the front screen and rear headrest screens. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

I've just posted on the GS forum, I took mine to Kwikfit for under £300 they repaced the front discs and pads, balanced all 4 wheels, stopped an exhaust rattle and replaced a front sidelight bulb. As I was leaving they told me that the discs are guaranteed for 12 months and the brake pads are guaranteed for LIFE, when they wear out they replace them for free !!

I recently took my Mk11 to Kwikfit, discs guaranteed for 12 months and (believe it or not) free replacement pads for life !! I do more than 30k a year in mine, I consider it a pretty good deal at under £300 fitted.
