  1. Ok - I have just got a new phone - the Nokia E90 communicator. Do the same issues exist uploading contacts? Do they also need to be uploaded one by one with this phone? Thanks for the help.
  2. Gosh I am amazed that Lexus has overlooked this. The Nokia 9300 is a popular phone!! I cant get help from Nokia (they are less than useless here) and the dealer cant figure out how to upload either (other than one by one). If anyone knows of a workaround, please let me know. Otherwise I will have to do the one-by-one thing!!
  3. Has anyone found a way of uploading contacts and calendar information to the GSX 300 Executive? I have a Nokia PDA and can bluetooth contacts one by one to the carkit, but that would take forever to complete. There is a facility to "transfer data" on the 9300 via bluetooth, but when the pda takes me to the screen that enables one to select the device to send to, even though the phone and car are paired, it doesn't see the car in the bluetooth list for you to be able to select it, and therefore aborts. Has anyone had experience in doing this and am I doing something wrong? Thanks
  4. I was interested to read your consumption. I have just bought a new GS 300 and have nearly 4000 Kms on the clock at present. I thought that the consumption was rediculously high and now I feel that I am right. I am at altitude (5000 ft ASL) and around town, I get about 17 l/100 kms, which is about 13.8 MPG. Surely that is way too high?
  5. Rillo thanks so much for the help. I feel a bit of a turkey, because it seems pretty obvious now. I will play around in the morning! Thanks again
  6. I have recently bought a GS 300 with a 14-speaker Mark Levinson DVD front loader system. It's a fantastic system, but I have been a bit frustrated about the manual that came with the vehicle. I don't know if the sound system differs from country to country, but can someone please help me to understand what the three buttons at the bottom of the screen are: when the radio is on, PTY, AF & AST come up. I know that it has to do with RDS features, but can't figure it out. My manual doesnt mention anything about these buttons! I know that there is a way to get a traffic report (for instance) to over-ride anything else that you are listening to, but can't figure out how to set it and I am sure that one of these buttons are for that purpose. There is a TA button on the cassette player that seems to be linked into these three options on the touch screen that come up when the radio is on as well. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Better still - if anyone knows where to find a softcopy of the manual that might explain it, that would be a great help! Many thanks
