hey the ride in your baby was one of the best i ever had. it was a great event the euromeet and the biggest ever so far. it was a fabulous organisation and it's going to be hard to do a better job. i will do a meet next year in soltau again and i hope that a couple of more guys from the island are coming over. i will try to keep it away from JAE. the trophy found its place at my home. i am very proud of having it for one year. andi was known very well in the uk-forum and people who met him will remember him as a great person. he was the top at eurolexus, the one who put the most effort in the forum, in his car and in contacts. dave holding a speech in front of over 100 people changed the atmosphere to a quiet one. the words were touching everyone and we all wanna thank him as a representative of the loc-uk and the all members supporting this idea. i read you guys jens

@ pip looks like that one. it's for an oilcooler actually but can be used as an adaptor for the oil temp sensor i was told. it shall be the best place to get the oil temp. jens

the vents are from an audi 80! :)

everything comes with with the gauges, except for the oil temp. there you need an adapter. but it depends where you want to connect it. normally it goes below the oil filter. mine goes to the oil sump drain. the third oportunity is via the "measure stick". :duh: the HUD is by IN.PRO. they got two versions. i like the older one more than the one i got now. at the other one you got in addition a line of red leds. you can switch between speed and rpm. this one now comes with a low and high speed warning that you can program. and it got a photo cell to adjust brightness. today i would prefer the defi HUD. i saw a video in the net. it can show more than just speed and rpm...and looks quite more interesting. and...my car is supercharged. but the boost indication is very present. in idle it shows about -0,5. under full throttle it goes up to about 0,35.

some new mods on my car i also got konis yellow now together with eibach springs...very nice!!!

where can i get a sensor attachment for my oil temp sensor? i finally got my defis and would like to install them. is it a car specific item or general? it goes under the oil cooler. what size in other words is 1/8PT? it's about the thread. thx

the tte airbox is not the problem at my car...it's the pipe going down to the intercooler. is there really no strut fitting the standard tte s/c kit? i got the trd strut...doesn't fit.

if it's the spring on the bypass, you should feel a good loss of power accelerating. i have the new spring but it slided to the side in the beginning and caused the bypass not to close fast enough...but the sound is ace... :D

i see you never had a real german beer... ... going for the cheap stuff...soft egg :P
