Hi every1 jus need some advice / confirmation regards wats changed or inspected only in this service. I thought this was considered the Full / major service and i knw its minor but the air filter wasnt changed, nw is this normaly done in this service. i had the service done at the dealers and for some reason makes me wonder could there be anythin else not done. I had a problem with the car startin it didnt always fire up, after reading previous posts on here the change of spark plugs seemed the ansa. however i have still had this problem. They were quick 2 point out in the report areas that need attention on the car. Many Thanks For Your Help.

I finally got the kit installed, very pleased with the amateur effort. 1 Nokia car kit 2 Nokia control box 3 I made an extra hole in the casing that holds the heated seat switches for the wiring from the cradle 4 I padded the control box 2 avoid any viabration, purchased it from a crafts shop 5 How the casing looks with the wiring from the cradle 6 After deciding 2 fit the box on the side of the inner console for extra support ive used velcro 7 Back plate of the cradle cliped 2 the plastic 8 After installing the box in it place stuck 2 the side with the velcro and paddin 2 help avoid the viabration 9 The speaker is mounted under the glovebox on the side of the heated foot vents 10 Answer button ive placed there purely for it 2 be a little discreet 11 Mic is on the side window pillar 12 Everythin in place and the completed little project

Hi Shorty the blue and red in the pic r connected and i have left them as they are and installed the kit, pics will b up asap. so far everythin works fine, i took the 12v feed from the ingnition wire via stereo loom 2 avoid constant feed from the 12v live.

Sorry 2 hear this mate and sorry 2 say but it may most likely be 3 points and a fine, and yes a ban. happened 2 a reletive his 1st 3 points.

Very sorry 2 hear abt this, can it b jealously. U dnt need it especially this time of the year. Have u considered a hidden cctv aiming at ur car, may prove 2 b a gud investment. Catch the buggars and avoid u sellin ur car.

plug and play does seen the easiets, i was thkin abt placing the main nokia unit under the centre console and due 2 the lack in lenght of the power cable jus get the power frm behind the stereo, i did install a sat nav like other members and source the power for the housing frm the stereo leads, i may simply split the blue wire frm the red and do the same 4 this.

the lead hope u understand regards the blue wire and the complete kit.

sorry if it helps its not a bluetooth kit its the earlier one where the phone sits in the cradle and chages at the same time.

Hi Parthiban thanks 4 the reply i haven't got any additional leads, but 2 be honest the kit is fully complete and wasnt really planning on using the mute facility 2 work through the car speakers. the kit has its own sperate speaker which i was goin 2 use. I simply jus want power 2 the unit. my nokia connector block seems slightly different 2 urs, as stated the red and blue wire are connected 2gether. only leaving the red and black and yellow after the fuse

Hi ppl, sorry a similar post was done quite some time ago so i do apologise but a little lost/confused, im abt 2 install a car kit. simple question the power lead has 4 wires red, black, blue and yellow comimg from the main unit. now the red and blue have been wired 2gether. now only leaving 3, im assuming the yellow is 4 mute, now i thought for power u always had three wires where im now only left with 2 the red and black. is this all i need, to which wires behind the stereo do i need 2 connect these 2? hope u understand this many thanks

Hi i thk if sum1 does correct me it only works wen ur lights are on full, it doesnt work with only the side lights on.

i had similar quotes frm dealers, but after info frm other members, it doesnt cost anythin near that, u cn frm time 2 time find the top motorised unit on ebay. then connectin up is straight forward.

Alrite there ive done the same in mine ur frm bham im local 2 u can alwaz show u mine an help / assist u.

Cheers guys, went down 2 wim after chattin 2 Tony, once on the ramp indications my front disks and pads were not suitable/adapting to the car, they have now changed it all, calipers were fine, however rear disks do need changing. But still get viabrations in steering wheel around 50-60mph, fine when driving 70 or over. Think it may need balancing

Hi guys, from wat i was told the potenzas without the rim protectors are the nz batch code and those with the protectors are the cz batch. Difference besides the rim protector is the compound/ material used in the manufacture of the tyre.

Cheers will do and check it out, originally with the steering wheel shaking left and right i thought could need tracking. Just a quick one when i jack the car up wat am i looking 4? how free the wheel rotates or for noise, sorry im awful at mechanical things, normally jus pay a mechanic/garage keep my hands clean, lol.

well it all started since i had my rear pads changed and at the same time they tried 2 tighten my hand brake, which seems the same if not slightly more loose. after this went on the m'way and the car was makin a loud viabratin noise had 2 slow down happened at speed, went back 2 the garage and they said the wheels needed balancing, but its all strange how it started after the pad change.

Evening All, can anyone help pls, wen drivin on the m'way after 70mph the car seem 2 have a shaky/ viabrating feel, i can feel it in the accelerator pedal, and even the passenger seat is viabrating. Wen i let go of the steering wheel its shakes left and right, ive had all wheels balance still the same, any idea guys? thanks

ive checked for stones non visible. the noise seems like rubin as the wheel turns thk it may b the disks on the pads as it increases more under breakin. Any1 with any ideas pls.

will check, been told my front bushes need changin as well though it may have damaged sumthin else

Hi Everyone, can any1 helrm p or advise, when i start driving i hear a clicking noise from the front driverside wheel havent checked other side as yet, hear it between abt 10-20mph, cant hear it wen goin faster due to the wind. Does any one know wat it cuould be? Thanks
