  1. I live in Sheffield and use them for my servicing so I contacted them first.....no help what-so-ever, as I said in my first post, they could only supply the body colour/code. I actually purchased the car from Lexus Nottingham and they too have no idea of the colour code. Last resort was to contact Lexus GB direct and guess what...same reply "Sorry no can help", it seems the colour was plucked off the Dulux colour chart and no-one cared to remember what it was called! I could have the wheel refurbed, but obviously a small mark on the wheel as it has now is sure to be slightly better than an entire wheel that is a different shade to the other three. Many thanks buddy for taking the time to reply- Mark
  2. Hi all. I have managed to curb one of the alloys on my 2011 IS250 F-Sport (gunmetal alloys). Does anyone know the colour code for the paint, I believe it's also the same colour as on the CT200H alloys. How easy would it be for any 'mobile alloy repair tech' to match to the original colour of the wheels? Also where- if at all would I be able to purchase a 'touch-up' of the paint for this colour?.....I've contacted my local Lexus dealer and they can only supply touch-up paints for the actual body colour! I live in Sheffield (South Yorkshire), could anypne recommend a good 'mobile alloy repair tech' ? Many thanks in advance for your help- Mark

  4. Why are you trying to burn an MP3 DVD...? whats it for...? OR are you trying to play a copyed dvd on the levinson CD/DVD in car player..? A Mp3 DVD would be able to contain approx 1000 tracks, compared to a Mp3 CD which can only hold approx 120 tracks!!! You can't use an mp3 DVD - only CDs containing mp3 tracks will play. I was trying to do the same thing, then I read the manual which clearly states CD mp3 discs only. Yeah...I have seen that too, but the ML plays DVD's & also accepts Mp3 & WMA, so surely there must be a way to burn Mp3's to a DVD.......NO!

  7. try http://www.lexus-parts.com/ once the site is up and running again, they seem to have a problem at the moment but don't be put off by that I have used them loads of times and they are very reliable, just watch out for the postage costs and the fact you have to pay import duty as they do everything above board. However, with the dollar being so weak againt the pound you will get a decent price. Hope this helps. Thanks for that squire- knew there would be someone out there who could help
  8. It's left hand drive then?? I can pick one up from Lexus Westside in Houston for you, but at the moment I don't know when my next trip is, could be a week or even a month away. Thanks for that Tango, but looks really bare without it at the mo!

  10. Hi everyone. Just returned to the UK after living in the US for the last three years. While I was over there I bought an IS350- top car I must say. On my return to the UK I had my IS350 shipped back over here, I had only been back here for a week when I went out to my car one morning to find that some ***** had stolen the badges off my IS. I duly went to my local dealer & they were really helpful- supplying me with a 'LEXUS' & a 'L' badge for the boot, but they said that they were unable to supply me with a 'IS350' badge as this model is not available in the UK. I have contacted both LEXUS GB & LEXUS US but have had no response from either. Please can anyone help, many thanks in advance

Prefer a spinnin logo or a small video rather than a general picture slideshow. Anythin to do with a 200 sport would also be great (preferably in Platinum Ice) Any help (links etc) would we rewarded with a £1,000,000 cheque- just kiddin but ya get the jist of the request! Cheers
  17. Dude dont get 12K, they are so far across the spectrum they look more like black light (UV).. they are NOT street legal & you will get unwanted attention from the fuzz. I know the chap who sells these HID's in Manchester, my brother has dealt with him before, very nice guy indeed!! But I've seen some on fleabay for £95 (that includes P&P) - my mate has ordered them for his yaris t-sport, i'll wait till he's fitted em to pass judgement on quality etc.. HID's are defo on my wish list but at the moment other things are required such as brakes & other suspension components.... Believe me- 6000k are the ones to go for as the last post says- nearest to the is300, and you still get a lovely blue/purple tinge if that's what you're after. Also true that the higher the k, then the less light they produce Dude dont get 12K, they are so far across the spectrum they look more like black light (UV).. they are NOT street legal & you will get unwanted attention from the fuzz. 20. mks units proper, n I mean proper Hella copy 6000k! thought they looked just mega bright white, was gonna go for the 8000k but Nads demonstrated them both before purchase and I decided to stick with the 6000k. Seriously- they look absolutely awsome- the light is amazin, night-time vision is amazin, just give this guy a ring. I was doubtful at first ( ONLY£150 ) like I said but can't wait for darkness to fall !!!! Also provides White LED's to replace OEM side/parking lights You can probably tell guys that I'm in love with my new HID'S- especially considering my local Lexus centre quoted £900 to replace the original IS200 light units with IS300 ones
  21. Check out my post on Is200 HID Lighting
  22. Just had IS200 headlights upgraded to HID. Kit only cost £150, absolutely top value, and compnents- no chopping wires etc, everything is plug n' play. Only took 20 mins to install, and the end result looks amazing- a real head turner. Got them from a great kid called Nads, he owns hid (Manchester based), but the website's not up and running yet?. Get ringing, best £150 you can spend!
  23. Cheers all for your help- didn't expect to be sorted so quick Guess it's not just the Lexus cars- but the owners as well that are efficient!!!!!!!!! Thanks again
