  1. Hi, Thanks for that. I don't do a massive amount of miles, probably 20-25k. It's just the 220d will be more cost effective for me due to the company car tax. I currently have a 05 VW Golf 2.0 GT TDI (140 bhp) and i have been very happy with this. It gets me around 40mpg and 0-60 in 9.1 according to the spec. (top speed 127) I would hope that the Lexus engine is better, but i have heard mixed reports about noise, vibration and sluggish performance? I would hope it would perform better than the Golf, although i've never had any issues with excessive vibration or noise with that engine. The figures from the lexus in terms of 0-60 and top speed are very similar. Basically, I just would like a bit of re-assurance before i place the order. I'm looking at the 220d Sport or SE-L with MM (can anyone advise on the differences) Thanks again, chris
  2. Hi, I'm looking at getting an IS through work and am considering my options. I wonder if I could trouble you for a bit of advice. 1. I would prefer the 220d as it will be cheaper for me than the 250, however i've heard some real bad stories/reviews about the diesel engine. (I don't believe them all) I would like some real life experience from someone who has driven one. 2. Spec wise, i'm torn between the SE-L MM and Sport MM. I hear the sport drives better, but not sure what I lose and what the sport seats/trim are like compared to the SE-L spec. 3. Any other info/tips? Any advice greatly received..... Chris
