  1. Hi, If anyone on here is breaking an IS200/300 or Altezza saloon, I am after a fuel tank, and also the part of the transmission tunnel metal work around the gear lever opening - which would need to be cut out with an angle grinder etc. Rather strange request I know, but if anyone can help please let me know! Thanks, Jon
  2. Thanks for the help, I now have found these parts and my car is fixed. Jon
  3. Hi, I am looking for some parts to get my Altezza (1G-FE) back on the road. I need: Pair of headlights (can be from IS200, but ideally from another Altezza) Front bumper (can be from IS200, but ideally from another Altezza) Pair of front wings (can be from IS200) Both headlight hangers (can be from IS200) Heater Matrix (can be from IS200) If anyone can help out then please send me a message. Thanks, Jon
  4. No, its a misfire. When sat with the car parked it misfires, as it does when actually driving. It failed the MOT because of ridiculously high emissions from the misfire as well. I have tried researching the autobox fault code but cannot get hold of the autobox codes for the Altezza. If anyone has them or can point me in the right direction then please do so! I tried calling the my friends at the local Lexus/Toyota garage to see what the IS200 autobox code 76 was - and it does not even have code 76 listed! The closest number they had was a 74 or 78, cant remember exactly, but that was for the Linear Solenoid. I personally can't see how the autobox error code and the misfire can be linked, I think they are two seperate problems. Any idea how or why a faulty MAF sensor would be causing the misfire? Thanks, Jon
  5. Hi everyone, I am having a serious misfire problem with my 1999 Toyota Altezza with automatic (tiptronic) transmission and 3S-GE Beams engine. I have already spent a hell of a lot of money trying to fix this problem. My problem: My Altezza misfires badly below 3300rpm. The worst misfiring is between 2500 and 3300 but it seems to clear and pull like normal above 3300rpm. It's not like engine is on 3 cylinders, it seems to just be misfiring across all cylinders! The is no engine warning light on the dash, however the green ECT PWR light flashes - and has been doing so for a long time. The car does not appear to have any engine error codes stored when I short the terminals togther in the Diagnostics Box in the engine bay, however it does have a transmission error code 76. I have already fitted the following brand new items to try to fix this problem: New ECU New Plugs New Coil Packs New Fuel Filter New Oxygen (Lambda) Sensors If anyone has any suggestions as to what part to change next, or what could be causing this then please let me know! I was going to try to get hold of a throttle body with electrical components next and try swapping that over... Thanks, Jon
