  1. All the locks are shining so it looks like they did their job properly. So maybe 2.5 hrs to change the locks wasn't so bad after all....mmm?
  2. Cheers People !! Its all fixed and back on the driveway, and guess what "All is Forgiven". I phoned customer care and they let me have the lock for FREE, but it cost £225 for the fitting. IM JUST GLAD ITS HOME. Oh and the 60k service stung me for £500 :shutit:
  3. Thanks for the help, Lexus have told me its not a common problem, im just unlucky and even more unlucky with the bill of:- Parts £137.19 + vat Labour 2.5 hrs £187.50 + vat (£75 ph) plus im having the 60k service done while im at it, but they havn't told me the damage for that bit yet, i think they were being gentle with me. BEWARE everyone, it may pay to carry a spare ignition barrel along side your locking wheel nuts just in case, as the problem strikes without warning.
  4. My ignition has stuck in the acc position and has basically left me :tsktsk: stranded, the AA man couldn't remedy the fault, he could only tow me to the lexus garage, who are shut for the bank holiday, where i have left my car. I have since found out that this is a common problem (i was never told this when i bought it), im sure if i was told that in 3.5 years time the ignition barrel will stick i wouldn't of bought it. Any advice would be appreciated before i confront the lexus dealer, especially as the car is out of warranty and i dont want to get stung for a huge bill for a KNOWN FAULT. Surely if it is a KNOWN FAULT it should be a re-call to have all dodgy IS200 barrels replaced.
  5. My headlamp washers have stop working and i am hoping this is simply because of a blown fuse. But i have mislaid my Lexus Manual in my recent house move and aint got a clue which fuse to replace or indeed which fuse box the said fuse might be found. Can anybody help as i feel lost with one of my lexus gizmos not working
  6. I agree with Neil (Fever), www.elephant.co.uk were untouchable.
  7. Well this is my first go at this,so here goes ! I've only had my IS200 sport a week and was quite looking forward to using the SNOW button this morning but unfortunately it made no difference, i managed about 20 feet in reverse and then 20 feet forwards, which took me about 10 mins to achieve . I ended up walking to work and blaming it on the Dunlop SP9000's but it seems not many IS drivers get any SNOW action . As others have found out before me - 'If it snows stay at home'
