  1. Hi all, After years of audi ownership (CQ2.8E and S2), I've been considering jumping ship to Lexus, primarily because I was sick of shelling out cash on the S2 :P and Lexus has such a reputation for build quality and reliability! "And get the Belt done, along with a new roller and pin! costs about £75 from Lexus dealer for the parts! Labour varies from dealer to dealer!" I've been reading the buyer's guides and as usual the crucial issue is the timing / cam belt. I picked up the info above from a previous post but I'd really appreacite confirmation that change intervals are 100k miles / 6 years, whichever comes first and is the parts list above definitive? With Audi's for instance, changing the waterpump is recommended at the same time, then again I'm assuming the pump is driven by the cambelt? Lastly, I checked out a couple of 2001 E46 BMWs last week and was disappointed to note both had minor corrosion on the wheelarches. Is corrosion ever an issue with the IS200? Thanks in advance and great forum by the way!
