cheer matey, look like they dont do rear bumper skirt at all for the 220d, do you guys think it will look silly with only front bumper skirt and 2 side skirts, but without the rear bumper skirt? or should i get a IS250 rear bumper skirt and modded so it will just have 1 exhaust exit pipe hole?

Did you get the Rear Lip (bumper skirt? or you mean boot lid spoiler?) for your IS250 or 220d matey? as i dont think they do the rear bumper skirt for the IS220d in the Uk, just check the list i got from dealer, only got front bumper skirt, side skirts and boot lid spoiler, no rear bump skirt... :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :crybaby:

can anyone confirm the colour range for the IS220/250 been change? as the list i got for the bodykit, it listed Morello Red (3R1) instead of Mesa Red (3R1) for my car, the code the same just the name had changed, personly i think Mesa Red sounded better, hehe :whistling:

Did you guys get a letter from Lexus or Dealer for the Recall? or you just ask your own dealer about it? as i didnt get a letter upto now about this recall....???? :wacko:

I had my since September 2006, but only done 2890 miles atm, no problem with it yet, touch wood, and i get about 38mpg just driving normally, hasnt got the 5th injector replace yet, as i had no letter from Lexus about that, the only thing i dont like is the paint, it seem to get stone chips very easy, not sure if that happen to other make of cars too nowaday?

Meguiar scratch X is what i used, and most of the scratch are not deep (as least that was i think), maybe i didnt rub it long enough? will try some colour match T cut and see how it go.... ;) ;) ;) ;)

Hi guys, was trying out some scratches remover yesterday on my Zafira first before trying it on my Lexus, but wonder how does it work? to me they are like wax, so how can they remove scratches? i tried on the Zafira first im able to remove only very very small scratches, most of the other scratches still there, how long do i need to rub those remover on?its the longer the better? and will T-Cut with colour work better with scratches? any advices will be grateful.....once i know how to use scratches remover proper, then i will try it on my Lexus...Thank in advance guys...

Not sure about tyres, should have asked but forgot... ;) ;) also price not include fitting...still pretty good price if its true, but i think i will get the alloys elsewhere....

Been to Lexus dealer today, and now got a list of Bodykit parts with part number and price, and yes they do do bodykit for the IS220, but i also been told that sometimes this month there with be a special offer of SR bodykits + set of Hoshi 18" alloy for around £1699 (more than likely to be + Vat) not sure if it including tyres thus, as they are hoping to get the details in next week, so i will go back to take a look when they fitted the kits to 2 of they demo cars, and the thing is all the parts are pre-painted, that will save me alots of money too, not sure if i want to take the offer thus, unless the Hoshi alloy are very good...will have to wait and see... :whistling: btw the SR kit look alots like the ground effect kit that Tango (Terry) have on his IS250... can i just cut hole on the left hand side of my 220d rear bumper instead of replacing the whole bumper Terry? i could get a GFX bumper panel and use that as a template for the left hand side pipe exit hole, and i dont think i will go for Quad exit pipe, will only be twin exit pipe, 1 on each side, will you think that will work matey? going to Leeds tomorrow to get a custom powerflow exhaust make for my Zafira, so will ask if they can make a custom twin exit exhaust for the is220d as well.... think for all the informations btw matey, very grateful for you help, and sorry im kind of hijacked your thread as well.... :whistling: btw those 19 and the body kits on your is250 look stunning ( make me want to get some 19" as well :whistling: )

what do you mean by back bumper panel Terry? the whole bumper? don't know which part you mean matey...

Ahh, no I didn't mean cutting the holes out, I meant all the black c**p that comes out of the exhausts on diesels............the only car I've ever seen that made me realise how bad it is is the Merc CLS diesel which has the same pipes as the petrol. It was a silver car and there was a whole load of black soot on the rear bumper above the two pipes..........looked hideous Never though of this, how bad its too clean those c**p off the bumper? i hasnt seen any yet since i have standard exhaust on, but then i alway clean the car after i took it out for a run.....so as long as its easy to clean then i dont mind (what sort of cleaner i can use on those c**p?).... :whistling:

Those the one you are talking about Terry? also this one atm im either getting one of those 2(most likely the 2nd one) or get 1 make from Powerflow do i really to replace the bumper? or can i just cut 2 holes for the exhaust? since im going to add a IS250 rear bumper skirt on later on, it doesnt matter too much if the cut out holes not perfect....

Hi guys, wonder anyone tried to fit a IS250 twin exit exhaust on to a IS220d? as most body kits are for the IS250 with the rear skirt for twin exit exhaust, i was thinking if the exhaust from the IS250 fit the IS200d? Regards Maz
