Alot of people recommend Mintex discs and pads like these Front and Back. But if you're going for looks as well like i did then get the RS-10 grooved and dimpled discs from 3G, but they are more expensive. 3G discs or get it from their website HERE. I'll be replacing my rear discs soon with 3G discs and mintex pads. They look like this. Try not to go with drilled type discs unless it's a well known and pricy brand as you will find they will warp and as monster mat says "Buy cheap, buy twice". It's worth spending a few more bucks on brakes and tyres as you have that peace of mind.

I know if i don't take it that would be the thing that i regret, i know it's something i will enjoy doing rather then maintaining PCs and changing passwords all day for kids who r out to break everything and all the good effort means nothing. Those who work in schools will know what i mean..kids will treat a £500 laptop like a door stopper, absolutely no respect and it ticks me off, but at the end of the day it's my job to maintain them. But yes i have already confirmed my leaving date and handed in my notice. So there's really no turning back. If you see me sell me lexus in a few months, you will know i choose the wrong option lol. If i bumping into any of you in Northampton i will buy u a drink!

Any chance of an image so i know what you mean, i've got a tear on the back of my front passenger seat which annoys me and was even looking into replacing it with a new seat. Didn't know you can just replace the cloth. I have an SE, so not sure if its the same colour seat as the "S", or have i got the wrong end of the stick?

Yeah, those are the questions i've been thinking about all 3 weeks. The one that stands the most is in the job im in, it's very difficult to get any sort of payrise (IT Technician for an Academy (it's a secondary school which has both sponsors and goverment allowance) and no overtime at all but could be very long term, unlike the new job which potentially provide 3k a yr just in overtime which i don't minding doing. To get any sort of payrise i have to change job position, but it's very unlikely for a school to provide any sort of position change (only get more jobs and no position change). The new job is very dependant on how much contracted work they can get (i would be an IT project engineer, similar to GFX designer and programmer together). They currently have alot of work ahead and huge contract, so they are desperate for someone with design skills in 3D, but they are only a small company with 12 people only 3 of them have any sort of design skills and they have a different role at the moment. Due to the fact that their main programmer is a good friend of mine (goes to show its not what you know but who you know) and i fit the bill, i got the offer after working a week with them, the Boss and his wife both work in the office and are genuine really nice people (pay my week working for them and paid dinner when he over heard me and my m8 going out somewhere, even makes tea for his/her staff, i've never seen that before in a company!). They really needed someone who will get on with him as at the moment he has provided software that has gained alot of attention and someone who will work very closely with him (last person that worked with him drifted off and leaving him to do all the work on top the work he's ment to be doing). I also graduated from uni with a first class honors in multimedia design (not bad considering i've been working in a kitchen for my family for 10 yrs and decided to leave after they retired and i didn't want to carry on with the family trend as i didn't enjoy working 14 hrs a day, 6 days a week on something i didn't even like doing). The new job will put my degree in good use too as i could not get my foot through the door in the world of "we need someone who has 3 yrs experience", but how can i if noone will take me in the first place even if i pass with top grade!? Travel is alot closer for the new job (only 10 minutes away) whereas the job im in takes up £120 a month on petrol (no i won't get rid of the Lexus lol). There are so many pros and cons in both jobs. It's like a gamble. I'm basically gambling on the new job to get the contracts in and hopefully last more than 3 yrs at very least. I've been doing what i've been doing for 4 Yrs and im still bascially doing the same, not learning much hence, just doing more work, no payrise :(. Northhampton town is only 10 minutes walk away from my rented place and has everything i need, whereas the area i live has a very small town centre where you can't even buy a pair of shoes without travelling 17 miles And very limited job oppertunties, most people have to travel and commute to work. Think i've waffled on a bit, but once i get "in the zone" i can't stop typing lol

I actually did get a new job offer elsewhere (but not from premium papers lol). I was headhunted really. I've already handed in my 4 weeks notice (been there 4 yrs), but they really want to keep me so they are offering me a new position and better pay. Although i have agreed to take the new job with the my new employer, i have yet to sign the agreement until i have officially ended my old job and tie up all loose ends. But im in a position to choose and bargin...do i keep my old job and get the new position or take the new job which at the moment is only a few grand more. Don't know what new pay they will offer me in the old job yet until this Wednesday. I feel so important at the moment as both places want me lol...just worried i will choose the wrong decision and regret it!

I've looked at that a while ago but decided not to buy it, instead i bought the sideskirts, not yet fitted them. I will fit coils on mine first before any kit goes on.

I'm relocating to Northampton in a few weeks, can anyone recommend a decent garages or bodyshops in that area for lexus's? Maybe at last i can actually attend a lexus meet as i currently live right at the bottom of kent and way to far to goto any meets. Now that i'll be near enough middle of UK, this shouldn't be a problem. May have a few bits for sale soon as i am only making one journey to my new area. I'm not driving 155 miles twice! lol anyone live in that area?

Nice work, i would love to have an air duct that points towards my induction filter, but the one i have (prolex type) comes from the front and that air duct would never fit. Also have you measured the air flow temperature before and after to see if there are any difference? Cosmetic wise it's top notch!

What oil did you use in the end? Omri, your images are way too big 3264x2448 pixels lol. If you don't have the software etc to resize it, send them to me and i will resize it for you (probably to 800x600 or 1024x768). Just reduces the loading times for people with less bandwidth.

I've got the Seibon bonnet, perfect fit. If you search the forum you will find one of my old posts on it. Cost new would be around £400 area, i fitted it myself, was a doddle, although you might want someone to hold the other side as you tighten the bolts. It's really down to taste to wether you like it or not as some people prefer their car in one color. Not sure of the weight, but definately alot lighter than original bonnet. It will look even better on a lexus with a bodykit. But heres what it looks like. Closer image, in sunlight you can really see the weave. You may also get some matching black washer jets, which i haven't got round to doing lol If you get a carbon bonnet then its worth you getting some struts for it as well as there nowhere for the original bonnet stand. I used Figs gas struts, purchased from Prolex, think it was around £100 for the pair, comes with all the brackets etc.

I pay £250 fully comp, 5 yrs no claim (protected) all mods declared. I think when you get to 26 Yrs old it starts to go down. No points, never had an accident, but probably caused a few lol.

If you don't intend to sell the car then theres no point having it officially stamp from lexus. The only reason would be that you really want the peace of mind having the car done by the dealers. I myself prefer to buy my own bits over time and take it to a local garage to get it done. That way you know whats going into the car. Usually when you get a cheaper service from a local is that they use parts like uniparts etc. Don't get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with their parts (they have all been tested to and above the regulations), but im just picky and like to buy bits that actual owners here in the forum recommend.

I've got the siebon on my is200. Is perfect fit, only downside as mentioned is the there are no holders of any sort for the windscreen washer jet pipes.

But doesn't the HID full beam take a few seconds to come on? Not very good when u need to flash someone quickly. I use alot of country roads, but just HID dipped is bright enough for me. I also use the 8k colour temp HIDs for dipped.

Wow, thats all i can say. Have not yet seen one of these in the flesh yet on my travels and i drive everyday. I've seen Lamborghini Gallardos, Merc AMGs, Nissan GT-R, but not a single IS-F! And thats what i want to see the most! Looks amazing, but bugger to keep clean. But at your age im sure your find plenty of time to clean it. It will be like a good relaxing/exercising therpy lol. My set of notes arrived really fast, now i have all but the "thousands", think theres 6 different ones. I had a note which was (what i thought is a dud). When i asked for a replacement (like for like). The seller replied that she will replace it for nothing and i get to keep the "dud" one i have. Which she assured me that it may be dud but it is probably/could be worth more than the whole set as "dud" note is "unique". All my notes are also AA, meaning it's from the first print. So if you are going to buy yourself some of these i suggest getting it from this seller as it's one i bought from and was very happy with the service! Some of the notes are already rare in unused/uncirculated condition. oops, just noticed this should have been in the non-lexus section, my bad. Any chance this can be moved to the non-lexus section so it follows the forum structure?* then this line can be deleted! lol

I've just got mine from ebay. Bloody fast delivery for 90p and £2.10 for the actual note. Would have been less but some bidder decided to also bid on it. Little did he know i've already put a reserved bid at from 99p to £3.25. only took like a day or two to get here! Yep, it's in mint uncirculated condition. So if you was to buy some i suggest you to get them fast as they are not a legal contender in Zimbabwe and they won't be producing anymore. They've only been around for 8 months. I've also ordered the whole range between thousands, millions, billions and the trillions (21 notes). Bit like stamp collecting hobby this lol. All this billions, trillions is making me hungry.

Straight after filling her up, i went and bought £40 worth of Meguers car shampoo, window cleaner, interior cleaner, trim cleaner and some shammy leathers. Guess what i'm doing at the weekend?....wrong! I'll be taking my monitor apart to get the 2 thunderbugs out of my screen! Last monitor i had was a LG 17" and by the time i cleaned out the "bugs", i ended up with a line running vertically across the whole screen. So this 20" LCD could well end up in the same skip as the last one by the time i finished with it. They're not small ones i can ignore, each dead ones takes up like 6 pixels of my screen! When i see "steves" avator with the bug running about, thats what it was doing for 20 minutes before it decided to die inside my screen!
