  1. Nice one. Your car will feel great now, not to mention it won't be pulling left or have bold inner tyre wear within 8k miles like mine did until it was WIM'ed. So far i've had the same set of tyres since mines been WIM'ed and its done roughly 10k and still have plenty of tread across the whole tyre on all four corners! I got a few WIM stickers, sure i placed them at the drivers side door pocket, but couldn't find them when i got home. Tony probably some how skillfully took them back during his tea breaks when i was busy watching his TV at the reception lol. Did you not see "The Monster" when you was there? A white lexus for drifting? On a different note, when i was looking at your image i was thinking, oh he didn't blank his number plate, but then i saw ur user name. Then i wondered why ur avator had the number plate blanked out...you are strange. lol
  2. Just pulled into petrol station and they've ran out of 95 ron petrol, so had no choice but to use 97 ron. The thing is, i still have 1/3 of 95 ron petrol left in the tank before i filled her up above 2/3 of 97 ron petrol. There shouldn't be any harm, but i'm guessing im not getting the best of the 97 ron petrol, am i correct?
  3. I've ordered a 100 trillion dollar note from ebay. Good conversation starter with the ladies lol. Great money spinner too for anyone passing through Zimbabwe to bring some back in crisp condition and sell it off here and make 300% profit!
  4. Not very much if it's in Zimbabwe. Due to hyperinflation, 100 Trillion Zimbabwe Dollar would be around $300 USD (or £183). You can just about buy 3 eggs with 100 Billion Zimbabwe Dollar! More info here. A loaf of bread in Zimbabwe now costs about 300 billion Zimbabwean dollars and like most commodities, the price increases every day. The funny thing is they have 27 different types of notes and it ranges from $1 to 100 Trillion! I'm off to buy a pint of milk...(if you can find a shop that would sell it that is...)
  5. Don't forget, grab some WIM stickers. Tony might say he hasn't got any, but don't take no for an answer and he will quickly have some lol
  6. Well mine looks like this... One for front, one for rear. Not sure which is which but one of the part number i have is PZ439-C0180-00 (dated 10 April 2003) and one is a TTE one, part number AM - 28831 (Dated 19 May 2003).
  7. I take it the ones that are for the group buy are the genuine OEM ones of the later date. If so, i might be interest (at a cost). Although i already have a set for front and rear (not fitted) i would prefer to fit the newer types (i don't even know if i have the later or early type ones, maybe one can post up the differences between the two types). Also the image of the door sills at the start of this thread isn't what mine ones look like. May post pictures later of the ones i have. Im still thinking if i would prefer sports type door sills rather then lit ones tbh.
  8. Thought i'd play about with photoshop, but ended up doing this instead lol.... Original image (not sure whos lexus it is, but i can take it down if owner is unhappy about it). Using my collection of lexus picture, made a mosaic out of it.. Then i went one step further and made an ascii art.. Might need to maximise window and step back from monitor to see it better. lol
  9. I use Kaspersky, managed to delete a virus i had. Even adware wasn't able to get rid of.
  10. Lexus is200 in background. BBC news about palace staff allowing reporter into the palace for cash.
  11. The last time i saw lexus cover it was for roadside and home breakdown for about the same price as RAC. And infact it is in partnership with RAC, except they offer for i think 14 or 15 months, rather then 12 months which is the norm. Think it was around £80
  12. Lexus is200 in the background spotted at (1:08) on bbc news website about a heat duct falling onto students in an exam. HERE It's the second video down from top. Infact you can just about see it on the still image of the video at the website.
  13. Reserve price is a stupid option, why not just set the price you want to start at?? Shill bidding is hard to prove, but does happen. Last thing i looked at the seller says the item was a few months old, yet on the photo it's dated 2 Yrs old. When i asked if he's got the reciept and closer image of the item he says he has it and will upload closer image, yet 4 days went by the no upload of new images. I decided not to bid on the item in the end cos i smell a rat. Ive also kept an eye on sold items, yet they appear again after a few weeks by the same seller, yet no feedbacks given from so called buyer or has the seller left any feedback to the buyer. Thats when you shill bidding is happening. Theres also the ones that joined yrs ago yet never bought a single item. When i see that i suspect that the original ebay account has been left on a computer that has been sold to someone else and they are taking advantge of the remembered password/username.
  14. Just phoned up one of my credit card company to tell them to close my account, as the balance is zero! Not sure anyone can remember, so i'll do a bit of recap. A while ago my credit limit was £5000 and i've had the card for like 10 yrs or more, just paying it back and using it as you do. When the balance built up to around £3500, i decided to save money on the side and paid off £2500 in one go. Soon as i done that, they dropped my credit limit to £500! I phoned up and asked if there was some kind of mistake as to why my credit limit was dropped by £4500. It's not if i wasn't paying anything back, missing payments, or wasn't getting any income etc and they just said the BS of decision is done using their rating etc. Anyway, left it at that as they was having none of it after i asked to at least raise the limit a bit more than £500. Since then, i been paying it off slowly as the interest wasn't very much anyway a month and today phoned up to double check my balance on the card is zero and told them to close the account. I was past to the account closure department and was asked the reason why i wanted to close it and they would like to make some offers to "keep me" with them. I explained to them all of above and they wanted to put my limit back to £5000, in which i promply replied "no thanks, when i did want the money you turned me away and lowered my limit for virtually no reason". But i've already made up my mind many moons ago when i found out they dropped my credit limit and swear that soon as i pay it off im going to close it! The fun bit was when they said that i also had another card with them to which i told them that i'll also be closing that one. LOL Rant over!
  15. Check out this RING lol.....money laundering or what? p.s also has sound on the page to match! Oh and you gotta check out the warning message near the bottom lol. Going to empty my internet cache incase my pc starts moving at night!
  16. Theres me trying to be serious and you jokers are making jokes!! You swine!!
  17. True, banks are so quick to charge you should you make a genuine mistake, yet you can't claim anything back when they make mistakes e.g recession because they can gamble on risky shares with your money, yet we as tax payers have to bail them for their mistakes...not once, but twice!
  18. Unless you've been living in a cave, im sure you are all aware of the headlines and news about the virus. Do you think the goverment is doing what should be done to protect people coming into the country? I mean theres still people flying from Mexico! And i can't believe it when an English couple on the news in Mexico were shown sitting there (no mask) in a cafe saying "they will fly back home next week" like nothing is happening, with a mask wearing waiter serving their food! Isn't that just putting themselves and other unaffected people in risk should they have the virus? Just now they have said on the news that they will start sending masks to homes from tuesday. Not sure if screening is enough i mean, it will probably take at least 1-2 days before any symptons can be felt by the person, by then isn't it too late? as most of the pessengers would have contracted it?
  19. Looks great fun, work those suspension lol. Some good photography too. Nice!
  20. I fill up on a friday after finishing work (£30@91p a litre (with low petrol light on and it ends up just under half way mark) and it lasts me until the following week. I don't drive in the weekend, but if i do it's only around 7 miles. For every 5 weeks i can skip filling for one week because i never use all the petrol thats accumulated over the 5 weeks and i repeat the process. I do 34 miles a day, 60% country roads and 40 A roads. It used to last me longer but as everyone knows petrol has gone up, was bliss @81p litre. I could get away without filling the car over the 4 weeks of accumulated petrol to last me an extra week! Tip? light footed, i don't go over 3000rpm at any point, only fill car half way with petrol, coast when you can (without clutch pressed!), correct tyre pressure ( i have mine at 35psi as it's been WIM'ed), Don't have windows open when over 40mph.
  21. I love the Tag Heuer Lewis Hamilton watch, but for that price i would rather have coil overs lol
  22. I prefer "moonroof", unless im stationary, in which case A/C. Normally i use my A/C once a month for 20 minutes just to lubricate it.
  23. Been searching and i think this nailed it for the rears... "Likewise with a friends install - he went "all out" and had components up front, 2x 12" subs in the boot with a pair of 6x9's on the rear shelf. Came round to show me how good his bass was, and I thought it was sh!t lol..... So I just cut the connectors to the cones on the 6x9's so only the tweets were playing, and instantly it felt and sounded better. Mainly cos the subs were firing into the airspace in the boot that the 6x9's were also trying to use, and each cancelled the other out somewhat. Eliminating the 6x9 cones allowed the subs the "breathe" fully, raulting in better sound and feel"
  24. So if i take the rears out, it means i only really need a 2 channel amp...shame as i have already got a alpine MRV-F345 4 channel amp.
