  1. Well, after 110,000 miles and 13 years, done the water test, and if anything mine was actually smoother than the top gear test!!, Ok i have got the 1994 Celsior with air suspension, which helps soak up a bit more vibration. Keep going to sell the car, but just cant, got a very practical 2001 diesel discovery, 7 seats and all that, and really shouldn't keep, two cars, however the Celsior on a run produces the same if not better MPG, than the disco, and with petrol being cheaper than more economical, and all of this in near silence! if and when i decide to sell the car, will put it on this site first, as its in great condition, and would be nice to see it go to an enthusiast. John
  2. Looks really good, where did you get the facia adaptor for the head unit , and is it possible to get double din ones as well? John
  3. Try this link, it shows the actual details http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread...ht=cabin+filter Hope it works John
  4. Hi, I have a 94 celsior, which had the same problem, the pollen filters there are two are reached by unclipping the pasenger side lower trim panel (under the glove box by your feet) and you will see a white plastic thing with two wing nuts, undo the nuts and pull the plastic lid off, and then you can get access to the filters, pull the firsy one out, the second is located behind the first one. Sound messy only takes about 10 mins, my filters totally clogged up, not replaced them yet air con bolows a gale! oh and i used used a tin of the halfords air con top up to give a bit of a boost its now bloody cold!! attachment.php.jpg
  5. Have 94 Celsior ( LS400) and not sure if i have a problem, see a number of issues on this site regarding stiff steering at low revs, mine is fine, however seems very lite at speed, could the steering ECU be faulty or maybe this is normal, does it have speed sensitive steering, this ones got air suspetion if that makes any difference (certainly better handling when turned on) difficult to answer such a subjective question, its fitted with standard 16" tyres, Oh and its just started the tapping sound from rear off nearside valve cover, after oil change, when it gets hot, is it better to stick in some thicker oil, currently synthetic 5-30. Thanks John
  6. Well decided to have a bit of fun, Discovery 2001 getting a bit boring but its a diesel and practical, seven seats and all that Saw Celsior (LS 400) advertised locally, 1994, imported Ocober 2005, very good condition, only 98,000km ( i hope) all the discs and pads just changed a few weeks ago, runs very sweetly. been playing with it today, and what a pleasant surprise, for a big old barge it ceratainly shifts, and handles well. Seems to have all the toys, air suspension etc, and the only problems are memory seat setting not working, need to add fm expander to radio ( and the quality of the unit is fabulous apart from just radio 2 at the moment!) and need a cd cartridge. so if any of you know where to get these two items let me know. one final point red button ( in japanese) on gear shift console above suspension settings, what is it? John
