  1. Thats the TRD spliter, well actually its just part of the TRD sport body kit....as others have said the TTE is just a complete bumper... TTE...toyota team europe. TRD..toyota racing development.
  2. Looks great matey, love the new F-sport seats and the new uprated DAB radio..very nice. B)
  3. Great mods there mate...looks so much difference with the full leather interior.. :winky: .how much did you drop the ride height by on the coilovers..? looks mega LOw.... Keep the good work up.! car looks great. :)
  4. Your best bet is to save your pennys and get a supercharger mate, but then you are looking at £2k to buy one..the IS200 is not very tuneable to get more power... An air filter will increase MPG slightly... power wise maybe 2bhp To improve handling etc get some new ARB`s.
  5. First of all take the wheels of and check the brake pad retaining clips ( spring clips ) sometimes they become loose and just need easing out a bit to hold the pads more tightly in the calliper housing OR they could have broken which would mean new pads ( unless you could find a way to make some form of springs clips to hold the pads (safely) in ) OR the other problem could be upper /lower ball joints....go for the easy option first and check the pads spring clips.
  6. Dazz, Do you still have your IS? Only today I finally managed to get that alloy I bought from you repaired. I now have a set of five. Have to find some tyres now. Hiya mars ...no longer have my IS200 sold it last september...hopefully i will be back one day... still come on LOC though..always good to help people out..
  7. Have a look in my gallery on my profile have a few pics on there.
  8. I must also agree. If anything, Lexus should have put these F-Sport alloys and breaks that they sell in the US as part of the f-sport edition. Also i'm wondering if the f-sport edition comes with the lexus f-sport intake? or just the OEM IS250 ones? Also should have these wheels and the chance to have the BLUE IS-F paint option..like the 2010 IS-F has now got as a colour option
  9. I regret to say it, but the main item missing from that list is the IS350V6 I agree with Tango if its an IS250 F-sport then it should have the US version 3.5 v6 under the hood...for those who dont want a v8 or cant afford the IS-F
  10. The IS200 doesnt have a MAF sensor it has a MAP sensor..
  11. Really sorry to hear this mate.. Same as me start of this year...some wa***r keyed my car on the drivers side from front to back of car...... :tsktsk: Then 4 weeks later they done the passenger side front to back......in the end i ended up moving because of it,then sold the car and brought an old banger... :tsktsk: Still never found out who done it BUT i had an idea...... :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:
  12. Replied to your PM Ginndo, The Tanabe is real quality as reflected by the slightly higher cost than the HKS. Has a better sound too. I imported mine from Japan when the £1 was worth a bit more against the Japanese Yen than it is now. Here's a pic, and you may notice Doc Bones in there somewhere Thats a great looking photo of the exhaust ( and Tony in the reflection :D ) i must admit if i had the IS250 i would go for the Tanabe exhaust after seeing/hearing it on your car Tango....
  13. I had a HKS silent hi-power on my IS200 and the exhaust was very well made and sounded just right noise level wise....
  14. I would use the Autoglym EGP and then seal the car with Klasse sealant then 2 coats of collinite 476`s paste wax....the collinite will last very well all over the winter months as its a very hard wax on the car once applied.....
  15. I believe Tango on here had a Tanabe twin exhaust on his IS250 maybe pm him or see if he posts on here to see how the exhaust was.
  16. Yeah I'm happy with the colour, was actually planning to go for 4300K but wanted to get the anti-glare bulbs from HIDs4U who only go down to 5000K. The colour is great though, it's weird as in daylight they look blue but they're almost perfectly white in the dark :) Yes mate that very true about the colour in daylight and at night.. :D .people who asked me which ones they were thought they were the perfect colour .....always got great comments and no complaints after i had them fitted..... :)
  17. Parthiban i had the same kit fitted to my IS200 when i had it (HIDs4U 55w 5000K ) and i must say i loved them,i never got anyone flashing me whilst driving and the colour was excellent, very white with a hint of blue... :D I would recomend them to anyone... :)
  18. Well i first had them about a year ago ,got them from Wozza as he was getting new tyres,( and i needed some newish ones to put on as mine where knackerd) but the Dunlop sport maxx he gave me of his car still had at least 2.5-3mm left so i had them from him ,and they lasted me approx a year before buying some new Dunlop sport maxx as i was really impressed by them.. But after the length of time me and wozza both had them i would say they lasted the best part of 20k miles....
  19. Type into google for PIAA wipers...it should come up with lots of companys selling them.. here you go... http://www.piaa.co.uk/wipers/wipers.asp
  20. I had Bosch Aero twin wipers on my IS200 and they were fine but i also used Rain-x on the screen and the water used to clear really well with no smear or problems... If you go to halfords they have a chart where you can see what size you need...
  21. Quite a good read that...in a way i would agree with that about the rear wheels fidgeting about i drove an SE and a Sport before i purchased the car... ive had 2 IS200`s... One with "17" alloys and one with "18" styling kit alloys and the bigger alloys doesnt really help over bumps... Just my opinion. :) The reason i chose the sport over the SE was purely down to the added bits on the sport...
  22. Yep they are all great lads @ WIM,really helpfull and will go out of there way to help you out if you ever have any problems.....its the only place i will go now to do with cars... :)
  23. I had a few issue`s with the Toyo T1-R`s on my IS200 sport.....had them on the rear ( 225/40/18 ) but the chassis hated them on the rear felt like it was fish tailing when doing speed so moved them to the front and put the pressures up to 38psi I actually think they perform better when it is wet and not that hot as the more heat that they generated the more they would understeer ( on the front )....i had lots of testing of the tyres with Tony down @ WIM to get a good medium in regards to PSI etc...apparantly the sidewall is to soft for the IS200 chassis so if you do use them put them on the front and set to 38 psi...
