I generally get around 28-29 to the gallon

I had a grinding noise coming from the drivers side rear wheel when the brakes were off. I've had it in the garage today and they have checked all wheels and I need new discs and brakes all round. They have quoted me £550 to do the lot including VAT and labour. It sounds a hell of a lot to me. Am I being ripped off or is this about right?
