  1. Same here. What sort of mileage do you get from a tank Jamie? I'm lucky to get around 300 - but the usual factors obviously take a stance - driving manner, weather etc etc. But yeah, around 300ish. J
  2. no matter how old you are a LEXUS is just something else all say a lexus and it just makes you feel great and you also know it is a great car and wont let you down all the refinements you could need its really superb from smudge
  3. Welcome to you i have had my IS200 sport cross for about a month now and really love it just a bit dearer on the juice have to do some work on it as there were some scratches and need some new tyres but it's a great car smudge
  4. I had a toyota for ten years and always loved my toyota so reliable and never failed, but for two or three years i wanted a lexus and now i have one i love this car even more just it is a bit more expensive on petrol, but i feel so proud when driving it and people do look at the car with a certain awe and friends say whose is the lexus and it's a great feeling when they have a ride in it there are so many nice features that they remark on bmw and mercs are a little common now a days!!
  5. Sorry for all the empty quote posts ...It's a bit new to me . Phoned Lexus wolverhampton today .And a chirpy girl on the end of the phone said swap tyres like for like. My gut reaction is to stick with you lot ..it does seem odd that the thinner tyres are on the back. There are no noticable driving issues because of the tyres ...although i am not a fast driver . What makes me think he has rotated the tyres is that the wear on the rear tyres is uneven and looks like it comes from front tyres that have need of a little tracking...Next on my list of things to check . This car was very resonably priced ,and so i am prepared to have to spend a little on it .the book is all stamped up with only the last stamp being a none lexus dealership stamp.. Thanks for the advice so far...... It would be nice to hear from any one who has a sportcross...I know there are not many around . Thought I'd better add this ...It is the IS200 sportcross ..not the IS 300 ...It still has the 17" alloys on But I think the tyre sizes would be different on these two models.
  6. sorry for that .Im new to forums .. Do you think the previous owner rotated the tyres without realising the diference ? Back to the main point will the tyres i'm being offered fit ?
  7. this is what is confusing me, front tyres are 215/45 zr17 on the rear they are 205/50zr17 question 1 what is the difference between zr and r when i checked on tyre search it z = 149mph and v (which is the tyre i am enquiring about) is 149 mph question 2 does any one else have 2 different size tyres fitted to their car car was bought privately 1 week ago so finding this when looking closely at the car
