  1. Running our type of induction kit does tend to amplify the sound of the charger mate, so it will appear noisy, compared to your previous set up, or an N/A induction kit.
  2. Erm yes..........in the boot to be precise.
  3. Hear hear. I think the previous posts just about cover all the thank yous needed. Would also like to thank Chris Shipley and Colin Barber using their joyriding skills so effectively to retrieve my car keys :P Also thanks to Paul Norkep for arranging the AA to stand by :winky: and to Raz Rankin for making me feel more embarrased than I already was
  4. Interested, but would like more details. :)
  5. What is the bonnet made of? Fibre glass? Like the idea of that style of ventilation, which should have no rain issues. Would be nice to get a carbon finish for the same style of bonnet.
  6. Yours are 18's though aren't they Dave? Used to run my 17's at 34 PSI with no problems. Tracking is deffo one thing to get checked.
  7. Well Pete, the R&D shed is going to be busy this weekend. :P
  8. I'd be up for it lads, but you will be too far west for me, as I will be coming down the M1 joining at Sheffield. I'll just have to see you there. Duncan, are you driving down Friday morning? Could meet you on the M1?
  9. I'll have a full set in blue with clips. Already got the S/C ones.
  10. Thanks for having a go Ken. It was worth a try. :winky:
  11. Know the feeling Aido. Only problem is that sometimes you get hassled by people who just think you are in a slow IS 200. They do get a shock when the traffic clears though :P Just did a guy in a Calibra Turbo today. He looked well suprised as I went by him while we were both under full accelaration. Only problem was I saw a rozzer pull out of a side road ahead so we had to slow down.
  12. I would tend to agree with Fargo, that the anti-roll bars will have a much bigger impact than the strut bar Pete.
  13. Yep, definately a scam, and judging by the style probably eminates from Nigeria. I have seen a number of these over the years at the Bank. They are just after your banking details to effect a fraud.
  14. Mind you, better than being called Porn Monkey I suppose. :P
  15. Looks like "The King of Grot" moniker is here to stay. :P
  16. Almost forgot. With a decent ECU set up as well, once the kit was added.
  17. Do you mean the Aquamist kit Dave? It looks a worthwhile addition to any motor as inlet temps are lowered, but would probably provide the greatest effect on supercharged cars.
  18. Customs also stick a handling charge to the final calculation, which is why it seems more than the VAT etc
  19. Zee and I got ours made up by Grahame Goode( Goodridge Kits) and they were much cheaper than £87 delivered to the door. However I don't think it is appropriate to state the price on this thread, just to make the point that they can be sourced over here.
  20. King of Grot would be more appropriate! :P
  21. Cheers Mat. Do you mean the holes nearest the bar itself?
  22. Anyone able to post a pic of the TTE bars and point out which of the three holes relates to the stiffest setting? Not convinced mine are set as I want them. Thanks in anticipation.
