  1. Pete I will be going M62, M18, A1. Could meet you at junction 5 on the M18/M180 junction, at the services if you like.
  2. I'll be there on Sunday.
  3. 38k this year, although with my impending large mortgage when I move to York next month, my modding will be a little slower.
  4. Yep, I'll register my interest.
  5. Like Pete. I'm interested depending on cost.
  6. Yeah we did some stupid things, and I suppose we can take heart that we were not exactly thrashed by the world champions. They had the luck and some would argue that you make your own luck. If we can sort out the silliness we can progress. We are all on that familiar rollercoaster ride!
  7. Bazza Please remove me from the GB. On my return from hols, it transpires that Graham Goode have actually made Zee and myself a set each, so I will have to take those. Sorry, but before I went away I was under the impression that they couldn't sort it out for us.
  8. I don't think there is any real or noticable benefit between the TRD filter and the standard lexus oil filter.
  9. I've had mine on nearly 12 months now and never had any problems with the paint, and don't know anyone who has, so it should be fine mate.
  10. Titanium if I had the choice. Pity I didn't.
  11. A set in stainless finish for me please Bazza. :)
  12. Zee and I are working on this at the moment and are looking at getting some Goodridge ones made up. Would hope that they would be under £100, but watch this space! :winky:
  13. The labour price is interesting. My local dealer fitted mine and sorted the removal of the Precats, using a high quality local engineering firm to weld the tubes back up. Charged £929 all in including VAT, which compared to £900 + VAT and another circa £400 + VAT for the Precat removal at TDi, seemed pretty good to me, particularly as Lexus hourly rates are not cheap. :)
  14. Can't tell you mate, as I have never driven one with them still in. Suffice to say it will free up a few gee gees, and some members have reported the cats breaking up on supercharged cars that have them left in. That has not been the case on every one though.
  15. My local lexus dealer fitted mine (got enthusiastic mechanics) and charged me £929 all in including Vat. This also included removing the Pre Cats and getting a reputable local engineering firm to weld back the manifold. Been enjoying it ever since :)
  16. Also registered, and paid some time ago. Coming down Fri lunchtime through Sunday.
  17. It makes such a difference doesn't it. Only problem is you get used to the power and just want more. :P
  18. Oh and I forgot. Some decent quality exhaust replacement parts eg 3" downpipes, cat replacement pipes, and pipes to the back box connection.
  19. There should be a part included that allows you to move this and link to the brake fluid resevoir. TTE will send you one if needed. :)
  20. It would Dave, but you have got to enclose around the filter to get the best effect. It gets bloomin hot in that engine bay! :)
  21. A proper carbon fibre airbox to encase the S/C induction kit that does NOT have a fibre glass inner finish like my TDi air scoop. I found shards of fibre glass embedded in my filter, and hope that some have not passed through into the S/C. An chrome engine cover for those using the S/C with the induction kit and not the TTE airbox, to hide the spark plugs etc. :)
  22. Never had any issues with mine, but the wattage is a lot lower then the eighties.
  23. At least yours got a mention Dave!
  24. Typical of a small capacity six cylinder engine I'm afraid. You have to give it some welly to make progress, and you pay the price at the pumps. Same as my mates 2.0 litre Jag X Type. In standard form, the car runs rich, but I found using Shell Optimax improved response and actually improved MPG, therefore offsetting the increased pump price. That is assuming you have a local Shell garage!
