  1. Great result [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Same colour as my old Gen 1 Sport. Mind you, for that money, I’d expect a working stereo [emoji853] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Doing a compression test will show if there are issues with the rings. Highly unlikely that they would all be broken. As mentioned, white smoke is not really indicative of burning oil, but of water. Blue tinted smoke would be oil. Any sludge in the water at all, or white sludge on the oil filler cap? A pressure test of the cooling system could help rule out head gasket failure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. I agree with Colin, it does sound like it needs re-bleeding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Welcome to LOC [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  7. Where abouts are you located, just in case a local LOC member can relate the EML for you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. If you are worried about quality, go to Lexus/Toyota, otherwise, go with what you’ve found. I’d expect them to be fine, just service them regularly (clean and re-grease) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. On my mk1 Sport, I used to run them at 38. Having said that, if they were over pressure, they’d be wearing in the middle, so it doesn’t sound like the pressure is the issue. They would probably wear even quicker on the inside edge if you dropped the pressure. I’d get whoever does the geo to adjust away from their settings to compensate the camber. 10. Never had any issues either. I do find it a little odd that they can’t just scan the card to give the discount (I know there is a different discount in the bike section, couldn’t there be two barcodes?), as they do have to get their phones out to work out the 15%. 11. It’s not the number plate light, it’s the boot light. Connect 12v across that lamp and you should get enough juice to use the remote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Give a lexus dealer x a call, they’ll be able to tell you what it was sold as when new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Good work so far, keep it up. Nice to see the older models being kept on the road 😎
  14. That’s a cheap price for a brake booster. Although early boosters are the ones prone/common to the booster failure problems. If you are getting one, you are much safer getting one from a 2001 car or newer, which had the uprated version. But for £80, it might be worth a punt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. I had a black interior on my gs300 Sport, and a grey on the GS430 Sport. Both had the black walnut trim. Black was definitely better looking, if I could’ve got the 430 with black, I’d have gone for that. In fact, the metallic dark blue with black interior on the GS300 Sport I had is by far my favourite colour combo for the gen2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Not my cup of tea with such a high contrasting colour. Something subtly different to the seat colour might be ok, with the exception of the centre rear head rest, I’d leave that out altogether. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Do they do discs for other marquees as well? Looking for disc options for my CLS63. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Great work so far. Heard good things about the Tony Banks exhausts, I’d enquired with them before myself albeit never actually had one done in the end. Non satnav cars are so much simpler to do the stereo on, i did the same double din type install on my old GS300, and also hooked up a reversing camera which sat just above the number plate (a little fettling of the number plate light panel made it an easy mount. Not a fan of the wheels myself, but it would be boring if we all liked the same stuff. Keep up the good work [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Never put a bike in the gen2, but with the roof bars on, had two on the roof. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Looks great. One question though, I thought ceramic coatings don’t need waxing, etc, otherwise, what’s the point of having it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. That's a stroke of luck then. Fingers crossed.
  22. Looks like they've opted to part it out now, which is no real surprise looking at the state of the body work.
  23. Certainly sounds like the pump is goosed. If it is worn, that could explain the black fluid, rather than lack of maintenance being the cause. If it goes black again quite quickly, it's a dead cert the pump needs changing.
  24. I’ve got some parts knocking about in the garage, I’ll have a root around tomorrow and post up what I’ve got. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. That is odd, a 2003 car should definitely work. Where abouts are you located? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
