Anyone installed a dash cam yet wondering where the best place to get power from, Has anybody found power from where courtesy light is located ?

Anyone found across climate tyres for the 2016 rx I have 235 55 R20 stock summer tyres fitted, wanted to replace with cross climate to cope with the ever changing season we get each month ! Ideas anyone

I have a witter removable tow bar fitted to my RX450, they cut the under tray to fit and allow the lights accessible. If the under plates are metal it might be an issue

Just to update, I replaced my Bridgestone Duelers for 4 Yokohoma winter tyre and what a difference, much more grip and defo recommended, now wheres the SNOW

I have the same issue, it is caused by the ECO mode, if you switch it off the engine will warm up, I find if in traffic and eco mode the engine cools down and the fan stops when stationary, switch it off keeps the engine on till warm and the fans running to keep you toasty !! Regards Martin

Just inspecting the front tyre wear as the outside edges are very worn, looking at the tyre I have 5mm on the inside 4mm Middle & 3mm on the outside going to 0mm on the very outside edge. Any one else got this issue, is it just the way the car is having so much power to the front tyres.

if you got to a local car accessory supplier they will have kits with adjustable range, I have 2 fitted in the front of my RX450 as it comes with only corner sensors, also the camera in the rx450 works in low light

Just intrested if anyone changes their tyres over to winter tyres, After last years winter i was thinking of changing the front 2 tyres for YOKOHAMA winter tyres to get us through the cold weather and i'm sure some snow. Thanks Martin

Just paid for a service plan on my RX450h £585 for both 10k and 20k service all inc parts, I think that was good, saved the VAT increase by paying now, if you sell the car the dealer will refund it, can go wrong

Then you should have come across Lexus Hanley who offer the lowest Service prices around. if you want to know how well the quote your local dealer has given you, compare them to Lexus Hanley :) As for the service package, you have to play around with different services and combinations to determine which work out cost effective. Be creative, play around with the variables to find the best mix. Just make sure that if you do opt for a service plan, it is a Lexus GB one and not a Dealer one. With the Lexus GB one you can go to any Lexus dealership while dealer one locks you to that dealer group...and any individual dealer can go bust. I have written in great details about service plans and my experiences of using them - hopefully you should find those posts/experiences useful. Oh and just because you bought your vehicle second hand, does not preclude you from buying a Lexus Service Plan :)

Just a question, is it possible to add an additional 2 sensors to the front of the rx450h, like adding 2 in series or parallel with the others, it has 2 factory fitted corner sensors but these seem silly as i need them to cover the front not just the sides, not sure what lexus was thinking of when the did this, why dboher to fit corner front sensors and not cover the lot.

I have had a witter removable towbar fitted to my RX450h , all is good but i have a question the dealer cant answer nor is detailed in the instruction booklet. I had Fitted the Lexus Lighting Kit for the trailer lights but when the direction indicators are used no confirmation is show on the dash anywhere, is this something not now required or needs to be enabled ?

I have had my rx450h since 1st March and covered 2000 miles, I get 30-38mpg, best i had was 49mpg but this was very hard to get, I am pleased with it as all my previous 4x4 were X5 Petrol, Range Rover 2.7d and X6 3.0d were all getting just over 22mpg

I have had a new RX450h SEL premium since 1st March, the best on a trip i have had was 50mpg, but this was very hard to get, normally 35mpg, I did purchase the car for the eco fuel usage, but i must say it is the nicest to drive , not the best looking, not the best performing but a good alrounder.

anyone know how to remove the radio in the RX450h I want to install a brodit dash mount and need to run a use cable from the top of the dash to the USB connection in the centre console. Thanks

I have had my new RX450h SE-L Premium for a few day, I must say its the best car i have driven for a long time, just got 41.8 MPG going home in the traffic very impressed indeed. The adaptive Cruise Control is great setting the speed i want the the car drives its self well done Lexus

I have located the amp in the boot space, IS250 but have another few questions 1. The 3200 has a lcd display unit and a blue switch box, do I need to run the blue box to the amp or is the a line in on the head unit ? 2. If i put the blue box in the boot the lead is too short to the LCD unit, how have others connected the unit up. is there any diagrams of the pins on the back of the radio/cd (No Sat Nav) unit. Got the lead already but the plugs are different

IS250 SE no sat nav I am trying to fit a new Parrot 3200, I have removed the radio but the connectors on the back of the unit are different, I pre purchased the Toyota kit as parrot recommends for the model of car but they are different too. It looks like the radio feeds an amp some where, any ideas where that is ?. any help would be greatful. Thanks Martin

I have got a mk2 GS300 which has an in built radio (NO SAT NAV) some of the characters on the display are missing, does some have a number or contact of where i can get spares or the radio repaired Thanks Martin
