I hate taking the thing to the dealers it always sits there for hours until they look at it and guarenteed it would not go wrong at the time they look at it. I have now searched the whole car, its not on the ABS, its not on the back of the gearbox, nor the back of the diff. Its got to be somewhere, but where, does anyone know where it could be or does it work by magic please help

Hi there I have poted this under the is220 forum with no joy My sppedo needle seems to be eratic I am trying to find the speedometer sensor location to check for faulty connections The car is an is220d Could do with some help

Hi there, I have searched there and there seems to be nothing apart fron the sensor for the gearbox pressure. Do you think maybe it is only accessible from the inside removing the centre console Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks for replying, not having much luck finding it info is very scarce and Lexus themselves are not forth coming with info. I thought it would be on the transmission, but if it is it is well hidden

Hi does anyone know where the speedo sensor is located on the IS 220 For some reason sometines the needle flickers and then stops thanks for any help
