  1. Thanks mate will let you know - fingers crossed im going to get someone to drill it out if not I will give you a shout. Does it come with glide/slide pins? Does anyone know where I can get some from cheaper then main dealer? -Thanks
  2. Hi, My caliper seized and my mechanic was fitting a new one but when we went to remove the slide pin from the carrier it was ruster it and he heated it and sprayed WD40 on it but nothing he just kept trying and trying then it snapped The pin is stuck in the carrier - it looks like it has been welded in! Has anyone had this happen? what is the best thing to do? Can it be drilled out? Would i need a new carrier? How much would one set me back? Does anyone have a slide pin or carrier for sale?
  3. forgot to ask does anyone have any bits for sale which I could use such as front passenger side calliper, calliper repair kit or calliper slide slide pins. -Thank you
  4. Whats the best option a repair or a replacment? I think my front passenger side is seized
  5. Just a thought would a sticky/seized break calipper do this? *Also to add my gear box has been weird and its been tough to get it into 2nd from first when moving but when stand still it would be easy, that is Intermittent aswell = not sure if that is related to the shaking I dont know what to do considering putting it into a garage but they could spend days looking at it and not resolve it but still give me a large bill for the labour :duh:
  6. Hi, My car has picked up a problem it stakes intermittently through the steering wheel, gear box/stick, well all over the place but then all of a sudden it will stop but then appear again later. Does anyone have any idea what it could be - had someone look at it and they said its not tyres or tracking as that wouldnt resolve it self wilst driving and he wasnt too sure what it was. has anyone seen this before or have any ideas on what I could check. -Thank you

  8. Hi, My shock have gone on my is200SE and i need to replace all 4 :tsktsk: My car sits on 18" wheels and has eibach EW8259002HA 2399li springs and have been told the rear shocks are toyota 48530-53010 and not sure about the front but the looks the same as the rear I need to replace all 4 shocks - what is the best option price wise to replace them as cash is abit low at the moment. -Thanks
  9. Thanks for the reply, i was just looking at that website and the cheapest set are $125 (not includeding shipping) but I looked closely at the picture and it looks like its normal hydraulic arms(?) which alot of other cars use for there bonnets and/or boots and the only special thing would be the brackets right? So if i was to get a set and copy the brackets and then find a similar size hhydraulic arm (im thinking it could be exactly like/same size as my old pug 306's boot hydrolics) would it work? Anyone with any knowledge know if the hydraulic arms are normal or special ones? Also does anyone have a kit which has not been fitted yet or is willing to take theres apart for a few hours and measure/stencil things so we can have a go at making a set and if it works could be a good home brew mod for loc. -Thank you

Locked the car jumped around inside it, opened the door and everything but still the alarm wont go on - no sound and no flashing lights/hazzards. 13. Hi i am about to do a long over due service what else is required apart from the obvious oil change & air filter - - my air filter was really dirty can i clean or spray anything into where the air goes into the engin to clean in side also anything else I can do to keep the engin running well?
  14. What type of draft excluder? is it a spray or something? wouldnt be able to get the strip type on the window seals
  15. I think you connect it to the reverse lights power so when they get power the reverse gear will be selected and thus the camera will work - right?
  16. cool im not alone will try the silicon grease - never used it before but will look for some in my nearest auto factors and give it ago So basically i put loads aroung the window seals and hope it blocks any gaps - - just to think i was just about to sound proof all my car
  17. Hi, When i am driving my car esp on the motor way inside the car it is noisey like a window is open slightly I dont think its been there since ive brought it but my mate thinks it has been is there any way i can figure out where it is coming from - sounds louder when sitting in the back but i cant work out where or how is it happeneing I was hit on the back about a year ago and it was repaired by the other persons insurance company and im thinking that could be the reason - I have been sugested to buy sound proofing sticky pads and line them around the boot area but that isnt cheap and what if it isnt the right area? Has anyone come across this by any chance? Is the car quiet for everyone else dont have another is200 to sit in to compare it to. Dose anyone near woking, surrey want to go for a drive and have a listen by any chance?

  20. help i wires up as said above i connected the matchign colours (the 2 white & black wires to the 1 black & white wire) and that left the white wire so i connected that to a 12v constant power and the seat all works fine moves foward & back, heated seats and the seatbelt light goes out when you connect the seat belt BUT yes unfortunately there is a but - the hairbag list is showing on the dash - im going to recheck the wiring tomorrow but dose anyone know where i might have gone wrong
  21. am i right in guessing the white wire would be a power cable? im going to test it by connecting it to a 12v power source hope i dont blow anything up!! Also the 2 white & black cables coming from the car im gonna join them to the single white & black cable coming from the seat - im guessing that is an earth and it should be fine can someone please please confirm this before i blow everything up!
  22. HI i have just brought a front passenger seat and it is electric but my last one wasnt, it was heated tho when i look at the plus on my car going to the seat are 1 yellow and 2 white- 1 small (2pins - red/green & white/black wires)and another slightly bigger plus(2 pins- pink/black & black & white wires) but on the new seat i have it has 1 yellow plug which fits mine but then has a large plug (4 pins - red/green, white & black, pink&black & white wires) how would i connect then- im guessing cut all 3 plus off and match the colours but im stuck with the 2 white & black wires i will be left with and on the other side there will be white & black and white cables -Thanks
