I got 400 Km from 55 liters... in town its far less then that... this is not driving slowly or in anyway trying to conserve petrol... mostly 180Km/h ;)

Hi Diapason, Have you thought long and hard on getting an RS instead of the IS? Mine is imported this year recently got it actually. Got the Automatic version sick of getting my left legged pumped up sitting in traffic all the time. It does have the Triptronic wheel buttons for chaning gear which is a bit of fun but you quickly feel you dont have 100% control (I'd like to be able to change that) There might be an ECU box you can get that makes you better control the up / down shifting. It's all good I suppose you just can't harm the engine by misstake ;) I deffo would not go back to manual wish the car didnt gear down that quick though might be my foot being a bit to hard at times ;) You can test drive mine if you want to. I live in Dublin. - once you do you wont want an IS200 or IS300! Promise! Currently the car is in the Garda station for fingerprinting, had some kn*cker break the rear passenger window two days ago... Btw.. you never to young to drive automatic... If you want to race it down in Mondello etc go for a manual MrA

A little update, Called the Police ((Garda)) Station my car is currently not there been moved somewhere else for TA... so there is no way I can get to the car and check for myself. Can anyone in here please please help out??? Regards Anders

Hi Altezza owners, Got my car broken into yesterday morning @ 6:10... *****! Need to get a new windows rear passenger (little triangle size) The window places that my insurance company use needs the VIN model number, the only number I have on paper is the chassi number not the number they are looking for. Is anyone in here close to their RS 200 -00 > 05 and can have a little glanze inside the hod where the plate is? Can almost swear it's the chassi number there and not a modell number. The car is currently getting finger printed in the Police station so it's "safe" enough at the moment. Have little access to it from work and would love to be able to actually order the bloody glass today. It's an Altezza RS200 -00 with Privacy glass windows in the back (not as the standard lexus comes with) pain in the... anyhu... Any help would be greatly appreciated! :shutit: /A
