Thanks, I don't think VSC was available on the 1999 and 2000 models and I don't think that the limited slip rear diff was available after 2000. I am going to try calling Lexus to see if they might know by the VIN number.

Thanks, I could try that but I might tear up the yard. Can I tell by just looking at it or is there a special tag or number on it?

I just bought a 1999 RX 300 and love it so far (I have only had it for two weeks). How can I tell if it has a limited slip differential in the rear axle? If it has the rear LSD is there any special oil additive that is required? What about the center LSD? Does it require a special oil additive. Any tips or web sites containing maintenance information would be appreciated. I am planning on changing all fluids.
