  1. Had a similar problem. Lexus mechanic found a 1? vacuum hose that runs very close to the firewall and is clamped to the intake manifold. Look by the break fluid cup. Noticed more vibration in very cold weather. The mechanic mentioned that he had seen this problem on several other GS 300?s. Solution was to unclamp the hose and let it hang free. Hope this helps
  2. Dear Members, Recently purchased a pre-owned 99? GS 300. The vehicle has 43,000 miles and is in excellent condition now that (via the warrantee) the radio was replaced due to a bad LED and full front-end break job due to a warped caliper. Maybe I?m being picky but noticed that between 5M oil changes, I?m consuming oil. Other minor symptoms (slight engine vibration when stopped and in drive) might suggest that there is a vacuum leak and oil is seeping into the pistons. Would really appreciate any feedback or history on oil consumption. Thanks, Ron
