All this "push the pad against the disc" is a load of crap, go and buy a caliper tool just slide it between the pistons wind it out and it pushes both pistons back ready for the new ones....piece of P**s to do. well done for having a go....so now you can be the brake expert of the club -
Front ball joint from Lexus is about £50.

That is correct, a car requires for daytime highway use, working brake lights only, preferably indicators, however, as you should know Hand signals, ( as shown in the Highway Code) indicators are still not required for a daytime MOT, neither are wipers, however a Horn IS required as this is a means to indicate your presence ← Actually incorrect: If the vehicle has switchgear for lights(on a m/bike) you have to have them,but not if the s/gear is taken off. :D

Mine did this once. I put the key in the ignition,turned it on (the car that is) and guess what.......it turned the alarm off and i drove away a confused young man. Been o.k ever since ;)

The fuse for the horn (10 amp) is under the bonnet,the one nearest the battery. :)

O.K guys i need to know the name of the hotel that is situated on the brands hatch circuit,the one b4 you get to the gates. I've tried searching but not having much luck (im crap on the computer) cheers peeps. :D

Who to blame? 1) Michelin.......coz they should of tested there at some point in time,and should of known about the resurfacing. 2) FIA.....as they refused point blank about installing a chicane. 3) Ferrari.....if they refused to race along with the other teams it would of been judged null and void and this would of forced the FIA into installing the chicane. The owners of Indianapolis actually agreed to put the chicane in place but was over ruled by Bernie. I hope those that are suing the FIA are sucessful,after all it is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport.

After todays fiasco its about time the FIA run a one make tyre formula, and kick Bernie into touch. cant wait for September to arrive so i can follow the A1 championship. :D

I thought skimming discs were o.k as long as you dont go past the tolerances. I would take the car back and INSIST on replacing the discs.

Ahmet.....did you oil the K&N yourself? If its new then i suspect oil has been getting to your MAF sensor before fitting the k&n. ;)
