  7. Hello all. I have a 1999 SE is200, and have been offered an LSD from a 2000 Sport. Would this go stright on or is there other things, such as driveshafts etc that i would need? Cheers
  8. thanks mate, the reg plate gets quite a bit of attention!
  9. Well, i was at Rising Sun car show yesterday, so decided to do a detail on the lex to try and shake the hangover! Pics below show finished results. Lex on the left and a mates Type-R on the right So it turns out that detailing is a good hangover cure, as i felt fresh as a daisy after! :P
  10. Hello all, Just had my car up on the ramp today and after cleaning the filth off the springs it turns out they are purple. Does anyone know what company make purple lowering springs? Its the same sort of colour as Do-Luck use, but they dont seem to make springs for the IS?

    Vvti Cover

As title. that plastic cover that has VVT-i wrote on it. For an IS200 please :)
  12. Im 20 and insured for £1100. 0 n.c.b
  13. i had no idea that these went for this much money! There was already one in mine aswell as the dash storage thingy!
  14. dead easy mate. Fold the wrapper in half and wrap it round the bulb. then put the bulb in so that the end of the wrapper is pressed up against the back of the visor. With the bulbs being LEDs, they wont heat up. The bulbs are dead easy to get out. use a flat head screw driver under the plastic cover, then the bulb will just pull out. Thanks for the comments all!
  15. THREAD UPDATE! Ordered those LEDs from HK, and they came today. This is the final product. Bought 1 blue LED, 1 white LED and a box of quality street for the pink wrappers!
  16. So after alot of hours of hard graft, this was the final product. (as said above, the photos REALLY dont do it justice!) And here are the obligatory 'arty' ones! :P Thanks for reading all! Martin
  17. Not really sure if this belongs here, but i thought you lads/ladies might be interested Today, I had the opportunity to do a detail on a Nissan R35 GTR Premium Edition (JM-Imports). So heres some photos and a bit of a report of how it went. I must apologise for the poor quality of photos! They REALLY dont do this car justice. Its absolutley stunning! So, I start at 10:00 this morning, raring to go. It clearly gets well looked after, as there wasnt really anything to report before hand. Just the usual that you will find on any car. (Especially white ones!) Dirt in the usual places, lights and mirrors Wheels were VERY Dirty! And the odd insect squashed on the front So after a wash and a dry, I took it inside to start with the polishing. It was very hard to get photos to show clear/white polish/wax on a white car, but ive tried my best! :P

    Headrest Screens

As per title. Screens in standard black headrests please. Cheers
  19. thats not a bad idea that. a quality street wrapper would also work....
  20. well, my next question is where do i get a pink one? i need a his and hers. The blue one in the link above is spot on, but i need a pink one too. anyone know the bulb code?
  21. Evenin' All :) One of my bulbs has gone in the sun visor, and i cant for the life of me find out what the bulb is?! anyone shed any light? Its just a small cylinder, 5mm O/D, 30mm long. Cheers
  22. thanks for the welcome all :) With it being a rare car, the insurance company would of worte it off, but with me dad being a mechanic, and knowing people in the business, i can get it repaired qutie cheaply :)
  23. Hello everyone. thought id join up, as im currently looking into purchasing a IS200 SE. This is/was my current daily driver, in its prime. My brother took the photos (http://www.barrycraig.co.uk): But 2 weeks ago, the back end stepped out, sending the front end into a flyover bridge barrier. Result: Had a thing for lexii, for a while now, but with only being 18, insurance was a no go, but turning 19 in january, will bring it down to an affordable price :0 Anyway, thought id introduce myself cheers Martin
