Hey guys havent really been on here much since i got my new lex. So decided to give her a quick wash and polish and tidy up some lose ends in the engine bay! Got a Vacuum filter for the BOV so fitted that along with a new "O" ring as it was split and leaking boost! now its nice and snug! Put the Air Temp sender inline with the Inlet so it actually does tell my car the real temp going into the inlet :D Fitted my Induction kit, which i got from Prolex. And with my Jr Hacksawing skills managed to get the standard airbox and intake covers back on. Trying to keep the engine bay looking as OEM as possible. Yeh cheers guys got a cheaper one off a mate for now....... so see how it goes! Aido..... that looks ok but still a bit expensive for me at the mo and doesnt look like the HKS SSQV i want?? Just ordered a Indutcion kit for the charger and gettin the car W.I.M'd next thursday so after that need new tyres and then can start saving again :D Tom.

I know i dont need one but just like the way it sounds tbh. And now mine has stopped working just wanted to know the best one to replace it with??? Guess i'll just save up the £250ish for a HKS SSVQ :) Tom.

Hi guys, Just wondeing what the best types of BOV's there are for a Supercharged IS200. I currently have a HKS SSVQ stlye *not actually a HKS* BOV on the car, but recently it has been either dumping for way too long and leaking boost while accelerating or not at all! Ive taken it off the car for now and replaced it with the standard TTE pipe! Just wondering what BOV's any of you have used, would recommend. If there actually good for the car? Do you have stock, hard or soft springs in them?? as i know most of the charged cars are running low boost! around .3-.5 bar (around 7psi?) and what difference will the springs make? Hi guys ive finally got most of the parts i need to get my charger on my new lex :D been sitting here for months now!!! I only need a Belt. does anyone have the belt part number i could take to any autospares or know the lenght of the belt used?? i have a 4" section that i picked up after the crash but it has no writing on it :( Hoping to fit it all tomorow!! Any help would be great, Tom.

ok ive disconnected the two bolts on the UJ, one on the spline'd shaft and the other below! Tried tapping it up (towards the car) but it wont budge?? Can i be crude and use a bigger hammer? or am i doing something wrong?? Tom.

Hey guys, Im in the process of changing my manifold for one that has had the PreCats removed. Im a bit stuck as ive unbolted the one in the car but cant get it past the steering colum join...... Before losing patients and just cutting the bottom flange in half and removing it in 2 halfs! Is there a way to get the manifold out as a whole??? Cheers for any help..... Tom.

Buggy looks great! I have a whole 1275cc A series Metro/ Mini engine fully stripped down, 45 Webber carb, Kent Billet race cam (not a re-grind), Ultra light flywheel, racing clutch, pressure plate and re-con'd gearbox all sittin in my kitchen! Ive spent well over £700 on it all but am selling my mini soon so dont see any point in building the spare engine! If your interested in it or any parts let me know?? Tom

Yeh its al done :D Charger will be goin on in Feb but i still cant get hold of anyone to get the bottom "C" shape IC pipes! so untill i can get some or find someone to make them it wont be goin on! :( Tom.

Cheers mate i took the amp apart again and connected it to the ACC internally then just added an external connetcor :D if than doesnt work i'll Ciggy it :D just looknig for the best place to get the power cable into the engine bay!! i know there was a post that had it in a while ago but cant find it :( Tom.

Hey guys just picked up my new Lexus today and decided to try and keep it OEM looking but still have a sub. So im in the middle of wiring RCA Jacks into the standard amp! Ive wired the Jacks in but not sure where to get the ignition live from??? I dont have my testers at home :( does anyone have an amp wiring diagram?, or know what wire i should tap into to get the igntion live for my other amp in the boot :D Cheers for any help! Tom.

Hi guys been a while since ive been on after crashing my old Lex! :( Decided to go and buy another Lexus IS200 SE today 04 plate in blue :D Picking it up next weekend!! Im gonna look to charge it but i need a few things that were mashed from the accident! Does anyone have or know where i can get the two C shape end pipes that connect to the intercooler, AM 27927/ AM 27928 (on parts list? and a charger belt! believe its an (5PK800) Ive got pretty much everything else but cant seem to find them? ive tried to e-mail Florin at TTE but had no reply? Take it to your nearest Lexus and ask them! got mine done in 20 mins! was only bout £30 too! Tom.

I can weld, I just don't have a welder! lol. Im guessing you need to remove the manifold first? Or can it be done whilst car is suspended on a ramp? Remove it! Or Buy the one i have in my loft ;) Cant fit it to my car as i was declared written off today :P There was also a guy selling a Stainless steel one at JAE £390 i got him down to £350! wish i had bought it now put on my next lex ;) Tom.

Mite be interested just so i can then get hold of a belt, and the pipes to sell it as a kit again? Or if i get another lex instead of a new Audi A4 like my dad keeps suggesting!! I can put the charger on again :D :D will find out in the week as insurance are draggin there feet a bit! Tom.

Only thing is the Insurance company will want to buy alot of it "NEW" from a company, in a way i want it to get written off so i can just "borrow" back the Black box and BOV get my money and buy a new one! I took out the GAP insurance so now will be the time to see if its actually worth having! Tom.

Thanks Mat. I think its just a case of Intercooler, The pipes, Maybe the Cradle and Charger itself? dont think anything else is damaged? But will have a look on Monday :) Will take my parts list too so i can see what is bent or smashed :( Tom.
