    No it won't. I work for Archenemy (south london). If you were in my area I would charge £90 to roll a pair of rear arches on an IS. Find me a decent set of rear tyres for that price and I'll bite your arm off :)

    Arches on an IS200 are nice and flexible so lots of room can be gained from them if your willing. Make the car fit the wheels, not the other way around. The final result will be more pleasing.

    FYI the six speed box found in the IS200 is also used in Mk2 6spd MX5's, and Nissan S15 Silvia's incase you could get hold of them for less than £350. If you have changed the fluid already I doubt changing it again will help, even to something like 140wt or similar. If you just want the noise to go away and dont care about the current gearbox too much then you could do what some unscroupulus car dealers used to do back in the day to get rid of a car with a noisy box by filling you box with tights or saw dust :) I am not reccomending the above really, although something like moly slip may be worth a try?

    You dont mention if your after an auto or manual either as i think IS300 only came in auto (correct me if I'm wrong peeps :)). If you want a manual then you'll also have to source a R154 box from a supra which are quite hard to find in good condition these days.

    Thanks for the offer breet, I will keep you in mind, but ideally I think I will try and hold out a bit longer and see if I can find a painted one. See how long that lasts :)

    I dont think these will fit anyway as a corsa pcd is 100 and most lex's are 5x114.3 iirc. Gonna need something over 8.5j with an et lower than 20 to even start to fill the arches. (guessing something from a corsa will be around the 7j mark)

    I have this problem now. Only started after it took a little knock in the snow, although I had a Pilkington screen fitted about 3 years ago too, hmm.... Its craked now from a stonechip, so will be getting changed before the mot is due. I will investigete the footwell connectors too now, thanks for the info. Also went to Lexus today to see how much they wanted for a relay and it was £61. Luckily I think I have have secured one from ebay for £12 posted which is much more manageable right now. Oh, and I'm a serial auto light user :)

    I like it lots actually. Love the package as a whole, much better looking than any astra or focus IMHO.

    Mine are tucked under the front bumper on the slam panel. One quick word of warning, dont mount the ballast with the connections facing upwards. A pal of mine did this and two weeks later he had a very rusty broken ballast and a one eyed car
