As above realy guys, am thinking of buying a 1998 GS 300 SE with Sat Nav Would appriciate some help. 1, How oftern does the cambelt need changing? 2, Would the headlights be Xeons (the add dosent state so)? 3, How easy is it to update the Nav? (I guess it uses a CD?) 4, I have included a link for the dealer below, they are asking 8k, is this a little ok or a little high? Car has done 90k btw? Clicky here Thanks for your help Paul -

At first it looked impossible...but help of p4ult...easy peasy Shame I didn't get hold of your diagram before hand...could have done it myself!!! I have placed a post on the Gold site with pictures of every step I took to install... Paul to the rescue....again! ;)

Cheers fella, But when I looked there were 2 green wires, so i undone the light in the door to see what colours they were and found them later on in the loom in the kick well. They wernt the colours you said though. When i used the wires i had found they worked. Cheers anyway Paul

Does anyone know what colour the two wires are that run to the red lamp in the front doors (the ones that come on when the door is open) as i need to trace it back to the foot wells to take a tap off them to power some iluminated scuff plates Cheers Paul

Yep its poss! Will mean running a wire all the way to the dash and putting a switch in that will break the circuit. Easy, but i dought the cops will notice, wat u worried about anyway!!!!
