  1. £280 fitted for the pads and discs, and that was discounted ... they rang me up at 3.30 with the bad news ...
  2. I had my 2004 is200 serviced at Lexus Lincoln last month - 40 k miles, MoT and new pads and discs came to a shade under £800, which certainly took the wind out of my sails. I've no complaints at all about the dealership, but I've no intention of paying that sort of loot again. (my previous car cost less than that!!) Is there anything in the servicing line that cannot be handled by a competent mechanic - my previous cars have been looked after by a well regarded chap in Hull whom I'd gladly use again, or would I need to seek out a Lexus specialist? If so, can anyone recommend a garage in the Humberside/Lincs area - I live in Grimsby. Thanks. PS They did throw in a bottle of red and a can of semi-synthetic as a cushion!
  3. Hi, I'm new here, having just got an Is200 (my missus got one at the same time!) Is it possible to install an LPG conversion on these cars - I read somewhere that it can't be done? Thanks
  4. Hi I have just bought a 54 plate is200 from Lexus Lincoln, and it was so good on the test drive, that my wife bought a 54 plate Sport at the same time. I hope that his'n'hers Lexi aren't naff :winky: I was running an old G plate Honda CRX for the last 7 years, but needed 4 doors. Obviously the Lexus is not as quick as the CRX off the mark, but I'm impressed with the performance. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is it possible to fit an LPG kit to the car? Cheers
