  1. Alright mate. Take the transponder out of the key you've bought and compare it to the transponder inside the key you have that works. Is the new transponder the same, or does it differ in that there is no screw required to be undone, and that the battery is not the same type either? (the battery type required is printed on the transponder) It also may have a clear part as opposed to being completely black? If this is the case then you're not going to be able to program it with the car. You may be able to program it with a proper toyota key programmer, but I can't confirm that. Unfortunately there are lots of these "lexus" transponders floating around - they seem to be from Russia or China and they just will not accept programming from the car itself.
  2. Hi. I'm trying to get hold of the clear perspex cover for the instrument cluster for my is200. Not having any luck, as I can only find them for sale as part of the whole speedo unit. I don't suppose anyone on here knows of any for sale? Previous owner dripped glue onto it whilst fitting a mobile phone hands free kit and it's left some permanent damage! Cheers, MC.
  3. Hi. If anyone has any they're looking to offload - for the same 18" wheels - I've been looking for a set for a while, and would be more than happy to take them off your hands. ;o) (for a small consideration, obviously). Cheers, M.
  4. Is it possible to take off the "sport" badge in the bottom corner? ie I'd like to have a completely blank mesh grill with no badging at all. (or can you get a completely blank mesh grill?) Cheers. M.
  5. Thanks for that info. What about your air filter upgrade? Does that need to be declared as well? Cheers, M.
  6. Hi. What exactly would be the Insurance implications of changing my standard exhaust to one of these boys? Is it classed as a mod, ie I'd have to inform my Insurance company? And if so, is it likely to void my insurance or would it just mean the premium would go up (and by approx. how much)? I'm currently insured with Lexus, as they guarantee to use all Lexus parts in the event of any repair work required, and would like to stay with them, so moving insurance company isn't an option. Thanks, M.
  7. Hi. Have PM'd you for some info. Regards, H_MC
