    Nsf Wing Black

Hi all, I need a NSF (passenger side front) wing in Black for my IS200. If anyone has a spare in decent condition please let me know and I will take it off your hands... I'm still recovering from the mess a third party made of my IS200 when they were driving without paying attention... Mods - if I have posted this in trhe wrong place please forgve me and move it to the correct area. Many thanks Abbas
  2. Cant believe it Roof drip side finish moulding had vanished! How strange is that?
  3. Mine was also like this when I bought the car - thought it was a bonus really!
  4. I also had noises coming from the sunroof they became more noticeable after lowering the car everytime i hit a bump or uneven surface I would hear sounds from the sunroof. I ended up removing all the plastic trim on the inside of the sunroof and that seemed to eliminated most of the noises. Planning on putting it back at some stage with some material between pieces to stop any further noise. The 4 plastic peices have lots of clips holding them in place I used a flat head screwdriver with tape on the tip and very carefully removed them.
  5. I had the same code a few months back and it was a coil pack.
  6. Most ppl are using 5w 30 fully synthetic i think...but if it has been abused then you may want some advise off someone like oilman from opie olis. I have 150k + on mine and always used amsoil or silkolene pro (think it may have been renamed now)
  7. If its this one you have, then i am sure there is 3 screws that were located underneath that you unscrew and the units will come out. Uploaded with ImageShack.us And I fitted a cup holder with a lid in its place like mentioned by Parthiban Uploaded with ImageShack.us If its the later style controls then I have no idea but you could try http://www.bahamutcars.com/workshop/IS_98-05/
  8. I know what I would do...Find out what side the noise is coming from and then have a look by taking off the wheel/s and see if you can spot anything? That would be my first steps.
  9. Have you checked all other fuses?
  10. Had it on a diagnostics reader this morning and indeed you are correct Kam05, there is a coil pack gone. I have one on order so limping along for the next 3 days. Will let you know if this resolves the issue Thanks I would advise you not to drive the car until you change the coil pack. Cant be good for the cat...
  11. Found latest post buttom!!

  12. where is the bolt,or is there more than one bolt? If its the one in the engine bay your on about, then you will have 3 bolts for each shield...
  13. As far as I can remember... Must Have: Warning Triangle Hi-vis Advisable: First aid kit Green card(for insurance) Spare bulbs Your headlights will dazzle on coming drivers so you can use beam deflectors And enjoy your trip!!!
  14. Top job man! Looks so much better... How much did you pick it up for?

  16. Hi, I have a problem that sounds very similar if not the same. Sometimes if I go over a big bump whilst turning left I hear like a "tho-ing" sound from the front drivers side! I have checked ball joints upper & lower for play, arb drop links (new ones fitted with TRD arbs), springs for damage and if seated correctly and everything else around that area. I also changed shocks about 10 months ago with TTE lowering springs. I am now exploring stuff like dodgy shock, bonnet play, mounts and any bushes for the shocks. As it only happens every now and again and I don’t use my car all the time it’s not been a major issue. Although when it does happen it sounds really serious! Would love to get to the bottom of it and will let you know if I locate the problem. Abbas
  17. Nice work, looks so much better. That exhaust cover is spot on, mine looks all rusty was it easy to take off? Would do mine if I had the time....
  18. Welcome to the world of Lexus & LOC! There is no switch, it comes on when the boot lid is opened. Thats if you are talking about the small 501 bulb that sits in the basket inside the boot?
  19. Sorry let me explain, its my post in the wrong section... So I edited it to say sorry wrong section. Hope you get a reply soon...
  20. I agree both cars would be at the same height after both being lowered by 30mm springs. Surely the car that previously had 50mm springs has dropped a further 10mm? Making the drop 40mm when compared to previous height? Nope it will still be the same distance from the floor......John there are a few pics of mine after being lowered on TTEs Here, make sure you get your geo done once they have been fitted aswell :winky:........If i remember right i paid about £110 Its not the distance from the floor I was talking about, its the bigger reduction in height after lowering with the earlier IS. Anyway good point about the geo, I was advised 500 miles for springs to settle then get it done!

  22. Yes they were TTE springs bought from Lexus paid £150 inc VAT and delivered. Part number was the same as Parthiban quoted above. It was a good drop like I said the pics were not the best to show it...The car now, after springs have had time to settle look more like Chris.s had on the red IS shown above. I was really pleased at the new look and stance of the car and it was so much more fun to drive.
