Ok had a brouse on the forum and came across this extra power outlet by tridentmorph in work shop part of froum. Really like how this has being done as im not a big lover of a dash full of leads and a lighter socket full of plugs and adaptors. So i plan on doing something like this but want to connect 3 items up this way, TOMTOM IPHONE & ROAD ANGEL. My question is if i get all the right parts to do said mods would the ligher wireing take the strain if i had all 3 connected at once? Would it just be a question of bumping up the fuse, or would i need to run a seprate live from the battery thu into the rear of the dash? Any replys welcome, even if you want to point and laugh at me........

My error1 fix!

Had my is200 se only 1 week (40th birthday prezzie) and today i ripped out the stereo due to it having ERROR1 code all the time. Got my sony head unit at the ready plus my din resizer unit, but when i got the stereo out i had this burning urge to rip it open to see what was causing my ERROR1, on opening it up found nothing out of the blue that smacked me in the face that said "ERROR1" so i dipped a cotton ear bud in meths flipped it over the lazer eye put it back to gether again and "hay pesto" she alive, alive i tell you! So gonna burn a shed load of cds tonight and have the music that i want to hear now... PS also fixed the ciggie lighter aswell, ripped it out to find a s,]mall black wire between to poles that had broken? Resoldered a new bit in and i now have a working lighter to charge my iphone in the car, SWEET! :D :D :D

As title says, picked her up Thursday after noon (pics to come). Shes a se on a y plate in dark metalic grey, dont know the colours name sure someone will know and post it... Loving the car, drives well and sooooo smooth, very happy. Only prob with th car is ERR1 on cd player and ciggy lighter dont work!! Fuse is ok and the light around it works but nada, nothing!! Photos coming after shes had a good wash, clay barring and a bucket full of wax. rubbed all over her. PS, gave her a quick wash today (mid showers of rain) and fook me arnt they a lot of car to wash......;-)

Have a set on my Peugeot 306 S16, i drive quiet a bit on B roads at night, and after fitting the HID kit i'v stopped using my full beam as the HID's do a better job......

A white IS200 parked facing the snake pass road about 1pm today, reg was J008BY or some thing like. Was taking the girlfrends father to saty with his sister while we jet off to Turkey this friday for to weeks of sun sea and bumps!!! Also saw a AFLA on fire on the Shefeild side of the snake, the guy diddnt look to happy as the fire crew used an axe to open his bonnet to get at the fire......

Their in my local £1 store, picked up about 5 last week or so. I,v also got a hose and bucket at work, so if i get bored ill go wash my car and if im really bored stiff ill do my work coleagues.

Spoke to my "better half" and shes seams up for it. Do i have to come in her Toyota Celica or will i still be ok in my Peugeot LOL....

Cheers lads, thats what i was thinking. Also does mileage really mater with these is 200, as iv seen loads with over 100k on the clocks, but always shyed away from them!

Just started looking for a is 200 as was wondering if i should hold out and get a sport over the se or is it just cosmetics "bolt on's" that makes the diff between the 2 models? Also whats the deal with tax and the is 200, someone told me that if i get a X or later model rather that 01 or newer that the tax will be much much less? Cheers fellers, Martin.

Hi new to the Lexus forum so please be gental if i ask a question that has already being covered. I have just looked at the spec sheet on the is 200 from this forum and it states "Dual stainless steel exhaust system with catalytic converters"? Does that meen that all is 200 come with stainless steel exhaust systems? Many thanks.

As topic states, spotted these cars about 2-3 years ago when i was single. Now got a new misses and her daughter to-boot, she drives a '02 Celica and i have a '95 306 S16 (which she calls a boy racer car!) Ok so the pugs limited edition and iv had her over 8 years and dont really want to part, but days out and trips away are a bit snug in her car, and the pugs got a boot full of ice and a loud zorst! (see lats foot note) So im looking for a few tips on waht to look for, what they should come with and what to avoid! All help is good help....cheers. Martin.
