  1. I don't have the light problem but my fuel gauge as recently stopped working and the fuel light is flashing, gonna try removing the connectors which are in the drivers side fuse box and check to see if any are corroded. How do you remove the plastic to allow easier access to the fuses etc...?
  2. Just recently i noticed that my battery was running low so I put my battery on charge overnight and put it back in the car the next morning, battery seems a lot better and everything is working fine apart from the fuel gauge which has stopped working, the needle doesn't even move and the low fuel light flashes after about 30 seconds of the car starting.
  3. Thank's for the reply,i tried moving the white plastic inside the fuel filler but mine seemed really tight and hardly moved,no joy, sadly it's still the same
  4. Thank's for the reply, where is the sender unit? would be worth checking to see if a wire is loose etc...
  5. Tried pulling the fuses earlier and still the same i'm afraid!
  6. I'll give it a try,but i've already tried disconnecting the battery then reconnecting it,doesn't that reset the ecu as well? but don't think it was for 30 seconds more like 15.Will doing it for 30 make a difference?
  7. Thank's for the reply but i know it's not the float in the tank because i remember looking at how much fuel i had in before i tried to start the car and it showed over a quarter of a tank, when i tried to start the car thats when i realised it was about flat, can't understand why its stopped working and the fuel light is flashing as all i did was remove the battery and put it back,it's not as if i had been messing about near the tank and could of knocked something.
  8. Hi,i have been working away for the last 3 weeks and have not had use of my car,so on Tuesday when i went to start her up the battery was flat,so removed battery from the car and charged up over night.Next morning put the battery back into the car and she started right up but now the fuel gauge is not working and after about 30 seconds the low fuel light comes on and flashes continuously, everything else is working fine.
