    Hi guys I'm hoping you can help me with this one. Cleaned out the throttle body on my MK3 it was terrible. Ive put all back on and now it is hunting and back firing plus a lot of water out of the tail pipes any clues please as I need it for tomorrow?

    I'm trying to find the flasher relay, can hear it clicking by the drivers side fuse box but can see it anyone know?

    Totally agree with cleverdick, but don't forget if your buying a new car you have to figure in the servicing costs and make as some manufacturers will only validate the warranty if you have it serviced at their own stealerships plus I still think if you go in without a scrappage car you would get more than £2000 off at the moment just so they make a sale, if room is that tight spend a couple of hundred of quid and buy a set of roof rails and a top box not the best look but would sort out the problem and as cleverdick said it wrong to scrap cars like this.

    Cheers mate, but do you know if the electric window switchs are fitted with this sort of bulb ?

    Does anyone know if you can replace the bulbs in the electric window switches as mine are really dull, and also the rear fog light switch is this illuminated as mine works fine but the headlight adjuster is lit up but not the fog light switch.

    I suspect front suspension, my car passed the MOT in November and I have just changed my complete front suspension end it was the worst I have ever seen, so don't think as its passed its all OK.

    No mate its gone turn the hub with no wheel on it's rough and at more than 10 mph really noisy in cabin and gets louder under load (tuning left and right).

    Has anyone changed their front wheel bearings on a MK3, if so how did you get access to them front or back of the hub and whats the torque settings for the hub nut.

    I settled on a set of DHP rims which I love.

    Very common, take the boot seal off clean it & around it , run a bead of silicone sealent around the metal lip replace the seal & all should be well. Cheers lads I'll try both just to be safe

    Went to check my spare wheel to make sure all was OK just in case I needed it with the snow, and lifted the wheel out and there is/was quite a bit of water in the well. Anyone had this?
