  1. Hi Tony,U can use any dust caps coz the pressure sensor is in side the tyre. This is the part number....42607-30030 valve sub assy.If u need a set,i have 2 spare set on me.TERRY B) Hi Terry, I came across this thread, I dont suppose you still have a set available I have a similar problem I am getting a warning signal. I have already tried a number of things put more air into the tyres, tried the reset button, no joy, tried taking 10% of air out of all tyres then pumping back to correct PSI then resetting, still no joy, I think I have a faulty TPM, but I dont know which one (but I have a pretty good idea). I have already had my dealer replace one and I nearly fell over when he told me how much it cost so I know how expensive they are and I dont want to go down the dealer route. I have a GS300 SE-L 2006 registered in March, I believe. Cheers Andy Hello. I too had a warning light on recently. I had to go to Lexus to get the light out. All he did was press the reset button, the one I knew nothing about as it's not detailed in the owners manual! Have you reset BOTH tyre buttons? One is on the drivers side pedal and there is another, the one not in the owners manual, on the passenger side, buried deep towards the floor. Hi, Yes I have tried that one as well still no joy. Thanks Andy
  2. Tigerfish, While we're on the subject and location wise we are not too far from one another do you now any local repairs specialising in Lexus rather than using main dealers which tend to be more expensive. Thanks. Andy
  3. Cool, thanks Tigerfish, but I thought there might be a problem with differnet frequencies between the US & UK? Andy.
  4. Hi, Does anyone know what the part number is for the tyre pressure monitor sensors, I have a GS300 March 2006? Or better still know where I could purchase them from without having to pay main dealer prices? Thanks for your assistance. Regards, Andy

  6. Cool, Thanks. What's the hardware hack, does it involve cutting wires? Do you know what wires need cutting. This is a right pain in the arse
  7. Thanks for the quick reply. I have been reading some links from our good friends over the pond and it seems it's something to do with firmware being upgraded from 5.1 to 6.1 which causes the problem. What a bummer Is there a "service" menu though? What is the hardware hack?
  8. Hi, I have just purchased a 2006 GS300 SEL and found out that you cant use the bluetooth telephone to dial numbers while in motion this is also the case when trying to set a new destination on the sat nav while driving. I've found some information on the web that says you can override this and even seen some video on You Tube showing how to do it, but it wont work on my model. I guess this probably has something to do with models in different countries? Anyway does anyone know how to get into the "Services" menu? If there is such a menu on the UK model. I did find a "Diagnostis" menu by holding down the "Info" button then with the lights set to off switching them to "park" then off 3 times and it brought up the menu. Apparently in the "Services" menu there is an "Override" switch that you press and hold until it bleeps that then enables you to use the sat nav and phone while driving. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
