  1. Great info Nick, i'm desperately looking for the front doorcards in black, with the chrome speaker rims. Have e-mailed every breaking is200 on e-bay to no avail. If you happen to be passing that place anytime, would it be possible to have a nosey for me mate ? Only if your passing mate, i dont want to put you out. Do you know if they would post things to Scotland mate ?
  2. Welcome mate, looks a nice buy.
  3. Iv'e heard good thing about Charlesworth mate. Good luck with it mate.
  4. Dont get too disheartened mate, these little niggles are a pain in the ar$e but you'll struggle to get a car as comfortable as your Lexus. Take it to your local independant garage and ask them to have a look for you mate. If it's a disc, they are not too expensive, HERES loads. If it's a caliper you can either get a NEW one for £115 from HERE or a repair kit from HERE for £30. Keep your chin up mate, you'll get to the bottom of it.
  5. Could possibly be your disc is warped also mate.
  6. I had the same thing mate. Red hot caliper, clunking when turning slow and braking. I fixed it by taking out all the pads and clip/springs,copper greasing the the pads and shims and bending the clips a little bit to make sure the pads are tight. I also took the sliding pins out the caliper and greased them also. I just sprayed some WD40 on the pistons then pushed the pistons back into the caliper. Hope this helps.
  7. Car looks great Ian, the body kit is TRD, avalible from Lexus.
  8. Im 99% sure it's called Antimony Blue mate.
  9. A wee mod for your steering wheel, take the L from the airbox in the engine bay, nice and shiney. just swap them over, easy peasy :winky:
  10. We don't need air con in Bonnie Scotland
  11. On the is200 there is a little spring/wire that clips into the pads, that keeps the pads away from the disc's ,ie stops the the pads rubbing against the disc's, it may be missing, as i have one missing and it's making this noise.

    Front Door Cards

Looking for both front door cards in black with the chrome speakers, think they're from 52 onwards. Thanks, Tommy
  13. Have a look at These They are a good price and are the slim ballasts.
  14. Hello, you get the bulbs, HB4's, when you buy the HID kit. is mines. Hid's are one of the best mods you can do IMHO. Found These and These. Good luck.
  15. Try HERE and HERE posted both as not sure if off side is driver or passenger
  16. The clunking when braking and turning slow is a common problem, I just fixed mines by taking out the slide pins in the caliper and giving them a good grease. Then taking out the pads and shims then give them a slap of copperslip. I also took out the brake clips and widened them a bit. When the pads wear down they start knocking/clunking so if everything is tighten up again it seems to help. Hope this helps.
  17. Behind your glovebox mate. Just pop out your glovebox by pressing both sides in and your amp is at the left hand side. Edit- Ormi beat me to it.
  18. Welcome Koko, your car looks stunning.
