  1. I still want some more power in my car. A brand new IS300 floored it infront of me and I was jelous, it just dissappeared. lol You can get a turbo from america for like £1k
  2. lol. What does the snow button even do!!?
  3. Anyone else learnt a lesson like this?? lol
  4. Hey, So I crashed my Lexus the other day but no one else was involved and the car amazingly took no damage at all. There was heavy rain and I was doing around 50 to 60mph around a slight bend, next minute the backend overtook me and I compensated and then spun the other way and rotated 180 degress facing the wrong way then still going a decent speed i went backwards/sideways up the curb onto the grassland and left some massive wheel holes in the grass. Finally stopped in the trees. Luckily the trees were more like twigs and it was very soft. Mud all up the windows and grass everywhere underneath. It was on approch to a roundabout just by a motorway slip road. I drove just as I would have with my old fiesta but this being rear wheel drive seems to act a bit different, I guess the power at the back forces the backend out. I will get it checked out at the garage soon, so lucky I didn't hit anyone, that would have sucked. Jon
  5. haha, I was still engrossed at the hamock stage. Then I realised it was a joke with the restraining order. Love it!!
  6. OK Ill do it tomorrow. Along with, screw down the cd changer, install the fire extinguisher, tune the base, re-fit the base remote to gain an extra foot and fit the RC cable. Haha. I have a small job atm but got an interview for a contract role in IT tomorrow as well, if I get it I might get a cap and new battery. Along with many other things. Cheers, Jon
  7. FIXED --------- I went to see them, they had a look at the sub unit. When they fully opened it up they saw that the speaker wasnt connected somehow. I DID check this, but couldn't see much inside and the wires seemed to be ok but obviously not. Ah well, they were really helpful in the shop and as a VIBE dealer the manager was on the phone to them several times and theyre going to send me free stuff like a VIBE fleece lol. Cheers, Jon
  8. Hey, I have a question for anyone who knows the Lexus IS200 well, I was curious about the remote boot lock. When I press mine it opens and I just lift it up, but I was wondering if back in the day when the boot had more strength if it would open fully when I press the button? I want it to do that as its a good idea. If not then I want more springs to it pops right up hehe. Lol, cheers Jon

Looks sweet, alloys work well and looks lowered.
  10. Ok good idea, Ill give them till 1pm to magically fix it over the phone or whatever, else I'll just turn up and say deal with it. :-)
  11. Yea, well Ill wait to see what happens on monday. Else I shall drive it up to their shop are return it myself. Cheers
  12. Ok cool. Well I called the shop and they said they will get VIBE to contact me on monday. I have looked inside and it all looks connected. Cheers
  13. The guy said my base won't work with 10v on the remote line, he said bridge it to the power. So I did that and nothing happened, sounds like bull**** to me because I sware I read the spec somewhere that 10v is plenty for remote turn on. I'm calling him back now...
  14. Anyway............... I wasn't saying that new music equipment saves on fuel consumption, I read that if you already have a massive sub and power draining music system a capacitor would improve alot including the fuel consumption (probably because it irons our power spikes?) for those loud moments? Maybe not but Im not sure?! Surely a capacitor won't actually use much power as it's not ment to, just passes it on (i.e. leakage, lcd screen is all I can think of). Cheers, Jon
