  1. ive filled up 69.26 litres once (as you can see it scarred for life) resorted to doing 40 on a national speed limit A road so i cud get to a petrol station. got overtaken by grannies!!! ive pushed my luck in my last car and actually run out so it wasnt worth the risking doing normal speeds!
  2. i was having a look at the prolex website and i was wondering... not much has been said about the HKS Legamax exhaust on the forum, has anyone got one for their IS? If so whats the sound like, loud and obtrusive (boy racer) or deep and bassy? Thanks!
  3. ahh i get it now!!! i will actually look out 4 it from now on something new everyday...
  4. I saw those when I was looking, but was put off by him trying the old postage rip-off trick, no need to send recorded. :tsktsk: whats the postge rip off trick? sorry if i sound silly...
  5. i went for these in white for my red calipers, really good quality decals and theyre bigger than some of the others on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-IS200-BRAKE-CA...2|39:1|240:1318 also the fact that the decals are curved make them look better on the car imo. i think theyre the same decals from the second post
  6. any chance of a few pics? i know you said its not at all loud but is there any change at all in sound, eg: volume and tone wise?
  7. i was considering a janspeed, raising the money as we speak infact. can u get back to us on how it looks and sounds once you fit it?
  8. hey guys the exhaust i first posted says its for the is300, does that mean it wont fit on a 200?
  9. is that for the one i posted or the second one that Hitnrun posted? also if it is for mine wht would that push the total price up to? Might not be worth it in the end...
  10. thanks for all your help aswell parthiban! as well as asi and aido. hope i have this and my spoiler put on by the next london or SE meet, i hated being the only almost fully stock IS at the first Ace meet. sorry gotta add rob to the thank you's, didnt see that last comment
  11. thats it... ive heard enough! cheap, not quite as unknown as previously believed AND has an exhaust baffle (thanks aztec) im gonna buy it soon as some debt collection is conducted!
  12. i have a bad feeling (well good feeling really) that i am going to end up buying this exhaust, parthiban you said youve heard of HP Racing, have you heard good things or bad. When i went to the site they only had alloys on there which made me think something fishy is going on...
  13. ah right! this exhaust is getting more and more appealing! cheap, can be made quieter or louder, did i mention cheap? do you reckon there will be a power gain at all, or a loss even, like on the powerflow? im really sorry about the amount of questions, i just wanna get a really nice exhaust, it the first car ive had that deserves to be pampered! and ive just caught the modding bug, well i always had it, never had the capital!
  14. i will probably sound very silly now but..... silencer baffle? and where abouts is it located, just for future reference. sorry for the questions!
  15. is there a reason for straight cut being better or is that just personal choice? now that youve said its a bargain i wouldnt mind going for it, its just that it has to be quiet at idle/low revs or i WILL get my windows smashed by my neighbours, its happened to a boy racer. i dont wanna get it here and find out its doin 100dB ALL the time!
